   Those men leave me in total awe. So many young lives given up to beat Nazi totalitarianism. My father never spoke about his experiences during WWII.

   I recently read “Duel of Eagles” by Peter Townsend – a WWII Battle of Britain pilot and suitor to Princess Margaret (QE2’s sister). It is a bit of history about the RAF and Luftwaffe and gives some insight as to how the effort and planning by one man (not him) ensured the British fended off the Luftwaffe and gained an upper hand in the air.
