While I would love to see justice meted out to many of the Deep State, I would rather the Republicans (should they get control of Congress) work first toward implementing policies that reduce crime, government spending, and the bureaucracy. If they spend too much energy punishing the Left/Democrats they risk replacing them as vindictive politicians.

In 1998 thee was a flood in a local catchment and the forestry slash took out a couple of bridges and severely damaged the lower reaches. For the Motueka valley, sediment from forestry contributes 90%+ of the sediment (personal communication from the environment officer of the local Regional Council.)
That’s why SMZ’s(Stream Management Zones) are the rule here. No cutting within 150 feet of a stream bank, even if it only flows during part of the year.

Data for COVID deaths shows only 4 deaths for the same ages.
