Relevant to my earlier post about my brief debate with my local MP.

The NZ Government has no idea what is the optimum level of CO2 or methane to achieve the policy goal of restricting temperature rise to 1-1.5℃. My contention was that if they don’t know the optimum level, any attempt to restrict emissions is not only fruitless but quite possibly could result in negative unforeseen consequences. My position was dismissed as irrelevant.

I’ve queued this up for you Mike. https://youtu.be/o69NZCDfRtg?t=233. There is much of the same throughout, and it gets repetitive at times, but I liked his approach early on beginning here.
You could adapt a portion of this approach and you might get a bit more squirming from your MPs. I’m not sure you can make any headway against those who are bought and paid for, but I commend your attempts.
