“Although Congressman Matt Gaetz and former Florida Representative Anthony Sabatini attempted to block the Tampa office from opening, it opened anyway. In the months that followed its opening, dozens of Floridians were targeted by the Department of Justice and FBI. Many of those individuals were accused of nonviolent crimes. They had their homes illegally raided by the FBI.”

And as usual, the RINO party sits on it’s hands and does nothing

It seems the Rhino party is populated by more Democrats than conservatives, all part of the same club.

What can the Republicans in Congress do to stop the spread of the CPD? It’s all well and good to say they have done nothing (does Gaetz and Sabatini effort to block the Tampa office from opening not count as ‘doing something’) but I am unaware of what they can do. https://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

By what authority does a police force from a city out of state establish its presence?
It seems that the State could step up and assert its hegemony to protect its citizens from interlopers.

Not arguing that the State can’t step in but is that dependant on the Republicans in Congress? Unfortunately, Republicans are in the Minority in the Senate and there are not enough in the Freedom Caucus to push through significant changes. I believe the FC can make a difference but without a majority, their effectiveness is limited. Sadly, too many Republicans are members of the Unity Party and want the status quo because it keeps them in powerful positions. Power over principle is the weakness of most politicians.

I erred when I capitalized state. I was referring to the state of Florida in this case.

You’re right about the inability to pass a law that would be vetoed by the current regime even if the senate were to some how come up with 51 votes in favor.

I have to wonder what has kept DeSantis quiet on this story. It surely fits his campaign to oppose the intrusion.

          As for

this is the problem that plagues the conservative movement all by itself. Principled conservatives are consistently hamstrung by the principaled conservatives in their own party. The latter are the ones most label as RINOs but which I relabled as SKUNCs. The money of the globalist interests are constantly in play and Congress will never muster the votes to outlaw their laundromat.

I totally agree that the entrenched leadership in the Republicans is the main impediment to conservative resurgence and Turtle is the main cork in the bottle.
