After the Fagolymics opening ceremony , I decided I wasn’t going to watch any of it. Seems a lot of other people had the same idea. Enough that some advertisers dropped out enough to get the Olympic committee’s attention  and for them to issue this half assed apology.

  4. Yesterday, I caught a few minutes of a Fox News panel discussion about Biden’s proposal to change the SCOTUS. One of the panelists, Juan Williams mentioned that over 50% of Americans were unsatisfied with recent decisions seemingly justifying Biden’s actions. What made me lose my temper was the other panelists not pointing out the abysmal approval rating of Congress and asking him if he would also call for radical changes in how it is run to emphasise how stupid the Biden move is.

    • Them complaining about the perks SCOTUS gets is a perfect example of the pot calling the kettle black.

      • MSM repeating reports from Teheran that it was a precision Israeli air strike!         • Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia all have overflight and cooperation agreements with Israel. Publicly they may criticize Israel, but privately they know it’s best to be friends with Israel. It also helps that there is no love between those three and Iran.

          • Historically that is so but are they as friendly towards Israel now? If I recall correctly Saudi has been having talks with Iran mediated by China in addition to the US- Saudi relations being at a historic low. Sisi in Egypt has a permanently restless population who are now expressing strong anti-Israel sentiments.       I was reading the MoH’s new Pandemic Plans last night (There’s a lot there). From it I learned that we now have “obligations” under the Treaty, and worst of all is this plan is a continuation of how Covid-19 was managed under Ardern and is exactly what The WHO want. We have not completed any enquiries into the management of Covid and yet they have put out a new plan.
