  1. And now they are all bleating that the BBC is the most trusted news source.

    Since I became politically aware I realised that was not the case. Their coverage of the situation in South Africa was appalling with staged riots, etc. They used this to shape Western opinions that vilified SA, and along with the London School of Economics feted the Marxist ANC leaders.
    During the Covid debacle they were responsible for forming the “Trusted News Initiative” from which they fed the narrative to news media around the world and the opposition to those who tried to circulate the truth calling it disinformation or misinformation.

    I hope that this is the death knell of the BBC.

    • Until any significantly high official, right up to Trump, consistently charge those in authority with a death cult zealotry (just less honest about it than Islamists), those who dole out such licenses will continue to run those agencies. We conservatives are not revolutionaries. The revolutionaries have taken over the vote counting and so we remain at the mercy of ruthless power freaks.

        Only here the wrong thing is being done, not out of ignorance, but maliciousness.

        • Darin, I don’t think maliciousness is the driving factor. That would imply the license issuers hate their friends, neighbours and immediate families. I believe it is worse than that. It is apathy towards the predictable outcomes of giving the licenses to illegal untrained aliens with minimal English language skills because it gives the issuers a feeling of moral superiority. They have done ‘the right thing’ and are therefore justified no matter the horror that follows.

          The opposite of love is not hate, it is apathy.

          • In this case, greed is the primary driving factor,but also control.They want the independent truckers gone and they want the small carriers gone. They did so, by driving down wages with cheap labor at the same time causing a whole new raft of regulations to come down the pike in the last ten years.

  9. The implication was (of course) that Trump has been issuing illegal orders to the military. Not only di they fail to cite one instance or even give a hypothetical example, now the admission comes that they don’t know of any such order.

    I’m not sure if this rises to the level of insurrection or treason but there should be some consequences for deliberately misleading the armed forces about the CiC.

    • Of note also, they were fine with Biden issuing illegal orders in regards to the vaccine mandates imposed on the military.
