Life in NZ:
‘The driver of a car that plunged into the Whanganui River, killing his sister and nephew, fought with the people who rushed to help him, a witness says.
Donovan James Matenga Tuirirangi, 38, also showed little concern for his two teenage nephews who survived the crash, she said.
The two shocked teenagers, aged 13 and 16, were instead left with neighbours on the riverbank to contemplate the crash that killed Whanganui woman Frances Te Kaawa and her two-year-old son, Duane Richard Pauro.
…..Police prosecutor Stephen Butler said Tuirirangi was about 200 micrograms above the legal breath-alcohol limit of 400mcg when tested at the scene, but police were waiting on blood tests.’
and:
‘Mongrel Mob members who gathered at the site where a van carrying five people ploughed into the Wanganui River huddled together and barked like dogs as a child’s body was removed from the water.’
But whatever you do, don’t criticise the culture that produces these pigs. That’d be, you know…racist.
