Just in time for Christmas, a Natpoll commissioned by John Key and Hone Harawira’s Government shows that most voters approve of the way the country is being run.

Should the Government keep borrowing nearly a billion dollars a month in the hope that something may happen to turn the economy round?  Yes–98%
Do you approve of your children and grandchildren inheriting massive government debt?  Yes—88%
Is welfare more important than production? Yes–88.7%
Should Government employees be a protected species, regardless of expense?  Yes–77%
