source Why? So more sailors can be taken hostage by a few Iranians in speedboats?  The biggest,most sophisticated weapons in the world are utterly useless without the political will to wage war effectively. Perhaps somewhere down the track they’ll convert the ship to luxury floating  accommodation for illegal immigrants?
