Robert Ardrey’s “killer ape” won’t be reformed by religion. All that will change the nature of man-and I don’t believe for a moment that’s necessarily desirable-is the long genetic walk of evolution, not ecumenical conferences and preaching or the fascist PC ideology. At this point in our evolutionary development war is the natural state of man, regardless of what people may wish to believe.
