Kiwis woke up this morning to a whole raft of new taxes introduced by this government as part of their “Emissions Trading Scheme”.  You know, the one they weren’t going to introduce even as they shipped NZ coal to China to be used in the coal-fired power stations the Chinese are building at the rate of one per week… the emissions trading scheme that was absolutely vital since NZ’s trading partners were doing the same.
Except they’re not.
This is nothing less than a massive tax-grab by a government which is treating working Kiwis with utter contempt. Misleading them, lying to them and exploiting the perception that they have nowhere else  to turn. And this while they do deals with the racist Maori Party behind closed doors in order to consolidate their position.
Some of us voted for National, despite their lack of clearly articulated policies (what Adolf over at No Minister called a “don’t scare the horses” policy in the run-up to the elections because National were going to fix the welfare culture in NZ once elected. They haven’t and they won’t) because we were desperate to get rid of the socialist bastards then in power.
Well, guess what….the new lot are no better than the old lot.
This site will be actively campaigning against National from now on.  They’re a bunch of mendacious bastards.
