Below the fold is a screenshot of the terminal window (not normally visible) in my wireless broadband connection manager window. Does it look odd to you?

Looks like the normal string of modem commands for a terminal window.
AT+COPS? = Lists the network you are on
AT+CGREG? = Checks whether you are attached via GPRS
AT+ZRSSI? = Requests a report of Signal Strength
AT+ZPAS? = Requests the current type of your network connection; UMTS in your case.
I’d be happy to explain in more detail if you’d advise which bit was the mystery?
Regards
Great. Thanks, Bruce.
THAT mystery is solved!
…I used to write this code in my early days with A Japanese company. Makes more sense to me than some of the comments I see written in some blogs….
I’d love to learn how, Bruce but I’m too old and too thick. (to write code, that is, not make comments).
Bruce has it covered but this may help clarify a little further.

Really knackered and brain dead at the moment and going to bed.
Thanks Seneca. Good to see you here, by the way.
