A popular conspiracy theory is that these events are being set up to create massive unrest, hopefully with a violent backlash, giving the powers-that-be the excuse to declare a state of national emergency- and suspend the elections next year.

Once I would have laughed at these conspiracy theories…

The fact that it’s now entirely plausible is a good indicator of just how degraded the political process has become, Os. And it’s difficult to think of anything that could reverse the decline.

  2. Indeed, there have been leftists who have spoken on the record as calling for the suspension of the election.

It’s not such a far fetched fantasy after all.
Hasn’t America come a long way under Barack Obama.
Imagine the outrage if a Republican had said likewise under the Bush era.

The only saving grace is most of this “unrest” happens where people aren’t allowed to defend themselves. The case in Tennessee is classic pack behavior, which could have been ended even before it started had one of the victims been carrying.

All I can say is IF they really want to start something then go ahead, they just need to remember what a MINORITY is.

The worst is a lot of good people will die along with the Vermin.
