You may pay, but you will never truly “own”….
Does The Government Now Own Your Home?
‘….If you want to change something about your property, no matter what it is, you will first be required to assess your property, at your considerable expense, for all its environmental qualities.  That can mean tests for soil, water, land slope, trees and native plants, grasses, weeds and animals, even what is under the ground.   This information is given to Council to ‘inform’ them as to what they’ll let you do.   If your carport is going to be built next to a clump of trees which may (or may not)  harbor native animals, and is considered ‘sensitive’ you will be refused.   This is not an exaggeration.  Our Council have recently testified in court that ‘bushwalking, riding your bicycle, and bird watching’ are ‘threatening activities’ that you should not be allowed to do on your ‘sensitive’ private land…’
Never mind Ghaddafi and his ilk–I’d like to see some of these council nazis and their Green handlers on the receiving end of a Hellfire missile. That would be real progress towards freedom.

    Well here you must pay property taxes to the government or they sell it at auction for the money owed.Basically rent,so I don’t really own my property do I?

    Add to that we found out the other day that our water rights were stripped from us in 1985 in a secret house bill.

    And we have a meeting with the state DEQ coming up concerning consolidation of our rural water districts AND the condemning of our private wells.I think they are going to need a bigger meeting hall though,about 350 armed militia are going to show up :twisted:

    The answer is: Of course it does.
    The RMA and the LGA 2002 contain absolutely zero reference to private property rights. The above bits of filth would have made Stalin horny! The creatures with the clip-boards are always at the ready to squash any hopes, dreams and aspirations of those who buy their properties then pay tithes to keep them.

        That’s at the core of the water fight here Cad.The official excuse is “such and such city needs more water,so we must manage our underground supply better”

        Such city was supposed to get a 70,000 acre surface reservoir built 5 years ago,but that has been block by carpet bagger watermelons in the name of the “Piney Woods Ground Toad”

        Here’s one now,ain’t he special?Identical to every other of his 20,000,000 odd siblings found here,yet the watermelons claim he’s endangered :roll:
