David Farrar–NZ’s own incipient fascist

Red flags raised over ‘Cyberbullying Bill’
It is aimed at combating harmful digital communications, but those attending an InternetNZ workshop on the Communications (New Media) Bill are concerned it may interfere with free speech.
There is an “upside” for managers of sites where controversial comment is likely to be made, Farrar said; “instead of mediating between squabbling parties on the blog, I’d love to be able to refer them to an official body”.
The urge to totalitarianism is never far away for these creeps, is it?  They value freedom so little they’re prepared to give away yours too.

“For example, the Bill expands the concept of illegal “denigration” beyond those contained in the Human Rights Act to, for example, criticising someone’s religion or ethical belief.”

    Yep, here come the fascists.

They’ve been after the internet ever since they realised we can say what we want.

Note the nationality of one of the other main gangsters-

Some one needs to remind him that we have different traditions regarding freedom of speech in this country.

That Farrar creature moans about “squabbling parties” on his blog, but the solution to that is in his own hands. He chooses to blog and he chooses not to filter the content of comments.
So he’s happy for Big Brother to do it for all of us. The guy is such a despicable, slimy asshole I have trouble finding the words to describe him properly.
