Another socialist success story:

‘Le catastrophe! A hated leader. Violent protests. Wealth creators fleeing abroad. After a year of socialism, France’s meltdown is a stark warning ….
By Daniel Hannan
Never in modern times has a French government been so unpopular.
Even in May 1968, when strikes and student protests paralysed the country and forced President de Gaulle to flee to a military base in Germany, the regime enjoyed higher approval ratings than does beleaguered President Francois Hollande today.
According to the latest poll, no fewer than 74 per cent of French voters disapprove of the leader whom they elected less than a year ago. Never mind de Gaulle; these are  figures that would have alarmed Louis XVI….’

Well- the French historically know what to do about this!

  2. Darin says:

Hollande should get ahead of the curve and start wearing a Wicker basket on his head

  3. I dunno says:

To be fair though, the french were dumb enough to vote him in, it seems to me they’re reaping what they sowed. As I recall, he was hellishly leftist, it was no secret.

  4. Ronbo says:

“Every good man is ashamed of the government he lives under.”

80% of the American population hates our Imperial Federal Government.

There are many good men and women in France and America, methinks…

Revolution, anyone :?: General Ronbo at your service :!:

If French elections are anything like American elections of late they were rigged by the Socialist Ruling Class.

Take California, for example, until the mid 1990s it was stalwart Republican, the state of Ronald Reagan…

Then…somehow…overnight, it flipped to the LEFT in about 1996.

SOCIALIST DEMOCRAT VOTER FRAUD BIG TIME!

Like Stalin famously said, “It’s not important how the people vote, it’s only important who counts the ballots.”

What a wonderful quote! Is it yours or where did it come from?

  5. I re-read L’Ancien Régime et la Révolution by Alexis de Tocqueville recently. Louis XVI’s France was a paradise in comparison with what we have to put up with today throughout Western Civilization.

    • Flashman says:

      Irony….

The French revolution owes its origin in large measure to national bankruptcy stemming from the unsupportable cost of French military support for the American revolution.

      • Ronbo says:

Yes, the Obamacare (socialized medicine) scheme of the 18th century that finally broke the Bank of France, then set forth anarchy and economic depression on the nation, that lead to THE SUCCESS OF THE AMERICAN & FRENCH REVOLUTIONS!

        Like Nietsche said,

  6. Flashman says:

The frogs voted this fool into office. They can now wear him.

Socialism: it’s wonderful until the last nickle clicks into jukebox.

  7. KG says:

Was it Thatcher who said ‘The trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money’?

  8. RWT says:

Like some of the other comenters wrote, the stupid shits voted for him, let them suck it. Mind you if they decide to string him up from a lamp post, i won’t be losing any sleep over it.

  9. RE the French-I am sure you all have read this before:
    A U.S. Navy Admiral
was attending a naval conference that included
Admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French
Navies At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large
group of officers that included personnel from most of those countries.
Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a
French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many
languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, “Why is it that
we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than
    speaking French?”

    Without hesitating,
the American Admiral replied, “Maybe it’s because the
Brit’s, Canadians, Aussie’s and Americans arranged it so you wouldn’t
    have to speak German.”

      Reminds me of CASABLANCA:

      “I’m closing you down, Rick!”

      “Why Inspector?”

I’m shocked! There is gambling going on in this night club!”

      (Lackey to the Inspector)

      “Your winnings, sir”
