      There are a lot of “IF’s”that could fix things like-

      IF we got the economy growing by 8-10%

      IF we reduced federal spending by 10%

      IF we abolished the IRS and the tax code replacing it with a flat tax.

      IF we had real healthcare reform that banned medical malpractice tort and opened up competition in the insurance industry.

      IF we enforced the law regarding fines and penalties on companies who hire illegal aliens.
      IF we raised the SS retirement age to 75.

      Of course none of these “IFs”will ever come to pass,so we will all be eating dog food when we can afford it.
