‘When someone hails Allah while killing a British soldier and quotes the Koran to justify their murderous act, the ABC isn’t immediately convinced that an Islamic component is involved. As one ABC operative subsequently demanded:
“What proof do you have that these crimes were even carried out by a Muslim man or in the name of the religion?”

    Defund? Fuck that. Sell the whole damn mess, or just shut it down (a la Greece) and sell the hard assets off. There’s absolutely no reason at all to have taxpayer-funded broadcasting in a modern country.

    It’s the same thing here Richard with our NPR.Not a week after 9/11 happened they started playing the Muslim call to prayer every Sunday morning on the radio.Even in my locale which is 90% Judeo/Christian in makeup.

    All because “we need not blame all muslims for the acts of a few and to help stave off any backlash against the muslim community”even though the murdering bastards had just killed 3,000 innocent people and thrown the entire country into turmoil. :evil:

    Oh,and any station that can’t earn it’s own keep from advertising isn’t worth the waste of electricity to operate.

    Would be nice if abbott would do it, but for now he seems unwilling, at least not before the election.

    I sure hope he is going to take the blade to a lot of leftist fat suckling off the taxpayer, it’s what Australia desperately needs.

      Agreed, RWT, but I’m not too hopeful.
      If he does a ‘Campbell Newman’ I’ll be very happy. But perhaps he’ll have too much on his plate, cleaning up after the Gillard Gang to take on the unions as well.
      If he can just fix the boats, that’d be enough for a first term.
