Ireland’s Road to Serfdom

‘..In Ireland all of the major political parties backed Same Sex Marriage, the press ran three times as many articles in favour of Same Sex Marriage as those against and the Yes campaign were allowed to spend almost ten times as much as the No campaign, with the majority of money coming in from overseas.
Fearghas Obeara, a one-time policy adviser to the President of the European Parliament pointed out what defenders of traditional marriage were up against: “all the political parties, about 160 out of 166 members of parliament, all the media, all the major US multinationals, 90% of the funding was on the Yes side, it is extraordinary, and something approaching a miracle, that 40% of the voters had the courage to vote No.”…’

Decline and fall…like the rest of the West. Just another nail in the coffin for all that was good…

What’s heartening about these recent developments is that we no longer have to hold the doubt that perhaps this agenda is all in our imagination.

Powerful people want it. The question is why.

As for marriage, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The government should not be involved in it AT ALL.

My surmise answer for related questions the last few decades has been “for Sustainability.” I had few willing to agree back then. Now, I think it’s more clear, but still too few want to see it. I think it’s because so few have faith in God, they either don’t know how to fight it or concede the Sus worshipers have a point.

Having the state bring up the children is part of the communist manifesto and chipping away at the conventional family, which is an important part of civilization in civilized countries, is doing that. There will be a backlash – there always is but much damage will be done meanwhile.

Next Christian organisations will be strongly encouraged to conduct these marriages or else. Not surprisingly the local mosques will be exempt; oh and if certain adherents decide to deal with these new arrangements rather violently, I call upon the traditionalists to stand back, don’t get involved, not your problem, you won’t be thanked, tell the progressives that we’re all equal now, you first.

Hopefully they’ll be pushing for polygamy next, all sorts of unions and whatever else need to be legalised now. Just use the same arguments and smear any new bigots standing in the way.

At least the people of Ireland were given a vote, it’s more than we were given in Godzone. But I am surprised that the Yes vote won, what on earth is wrong with them?? Depressing that the progs are winning every corner. The family will be stamped out, chaos will be the norm; this is what they actually want. Bad called good and good called bad.
