    Hello KG

    You will be saddened to hear the Sandy Creek pub has closed.

    Local rumour has it that it will not reopen but I’m not so sure. According to gossip the property owner is a bit of a bitch who will not spend a cent on the joint but there appears to be substantial renovation going on. Maybe a new lessee is spending some dough. Maybe it will reopen as something other than a pub.

    I’ll keep you informed.

      G’day Adolf! Good to hear from you.
      The Sandy Creek pub closed? The world really is going to hell in a handbasket. :(
      That pub used to be on my Gawler to Nuriootpa race track when I was an irresponsible road racer, and if memory serves I used to turn right at the pub sometimes to go for a blast on another great winding road.
      Damn. It’ll probably re-open as a cutesy tourist stop.

    Looking from outside the US, that’s the saddest thing of all: that not even one of the many millions who has sworn to defend the constitution against all enemies has done (or shows any sign of doing) what the constitution demands in these cases.

    There has been no censure or exclusion of traitorous senators.
    There has been no impeachment, let alone conviction, of the president.
    Non-one has done what the second amendment demands.

    Instead the constitution has been trampled upon, and Texas, instead of becoming the first free state once again, has been invaded by the Feds.

      Since Obama took office on January 20, 2009 – Free America has been the victim of a Weimar Republic style slow but steady totalitarian putsch against our sacred Republic.

      The parallels between what happened in Germany during the late 1920s and early 1930s are very ominous parallels – then as now the collectivists began a slow but steady march thru the major institutions of Republican Germany taking control of them – the case also in America – then as now in America the elected representatives of the people lost power to the head of state.

      Thus in Germany by 1932, the Chancellor ruled by Decree and when he was replaced by Hitler on January 30, 1933 – Hitler had little else to do in order to destroy the German Republic, as freedom had disappeared long before Adolf watched the Storm Troopers march in a torch light parade all night beneath his window in the Chancellor’s Office.

      In America we haven’t had the dramatic torch light parade by Obama lackey’s passed the White House…But it is safe to say that the American Republic in 2015 is as dead as the German Republic was in 1933. Like the latter Chancellors of the Weimar Republic, the American President rules by Decree (Presidential Orders) and only isolated patriots such as myself are in opposition to the dictatorship.

      Yes, to date the Regime has been ruling with a relative light hand, but wasn’t the same true of Germany in the early days of their dictatorship that started in 1930 with the Great Depression?
