The point which disarms the disarmers is quite simple, disarm the population so that the only people armed are criminals, the determined criminally insane, and “the man” (gummint). In Britain we have been pussified so much that all but a few are shit scared of guns. We have no longer got the balls to do anything serious for ourselves, so we leave it to the criminally treasonous gummint to do it for/to us.
I hate thought experiments, they make me think of horrible outcomes. That one actually got me feeling a positive buzz. What if… Nah, forget it, we wouldn’t would we. We wouldn’t, the United States or some of them might free up open carry laws. Now that would be a good start.
Andy,we have infact begun rolling back state gun laws.My State has for years had concealed carry permits and recently we enacted Castle doctrine that means you can carry on your own property(house or vehicle) without any license or permit and can stand your ground defending it from an intruder.
We also last summer went open carry where we can carry on the hip or shoulder(everywhere except a school,courthouse or business that doesn’t allow it).We almost had enough votes in the state legislature to pass nullification that would allow the state to ignore any new federal gun laws to be enforced and jail any federal agent that tries.
