Hashtags and candles won’t cut it

and this journo, at least, gets it:
‘…there has been much written and spoken since the bloody horrors of Friday night about how, in the fight against evil, it is peace, love and understanding that will win. How, in the battle against men with guns, grenades and suicide vests, it is the simple courage of people standing together that will ultimately triumph.
Those platitudes might sound great, they feel very nice to say and they are certainly reassuring to hear and read.
After all, we were all raised on fairy tales that told us, again and again, that in the end it is good that will overcome evil every time.
There is just one crucial problem: none of it is true.
….So, unless we are all happy to sign up to radical Islam right now, with every heretic and infidel executed on sight, every man forced to take up arms, every woman enslaved, every homosexual stoned to death and every nine-year-old girl at risk of rape, in a terrifying return to the Dark Ages, we have a choice to make.
That choice is stark: kill or be killed. So which one is it going to be?…’

Remus’ editorial nails it. Check out what he has to say.

  2. Darin says:

In the news today France launches”massive”bombing campaign in Syria-20 bombs have been dropped so far?

20? Really? I don’t call that massive,I call that a waste of fuel.Until I see round the clock flights of B-52s they aren’t serious. This is a simple problem, bomb the fuckers into dust, all of them.Forget the soft tactics and half measures, nut up and and do what needs doing.

    • Ronbo says:

Ditto…Waves of B-52….Carpet bomb the Islamic bastards in their crap hole “capital” city…MASSIVE body counts…They kill one of ours – we kill one thousand of them. THE BLACK FLAG! Men, women and children… BLOW THEM TO HELL …TOTAL WAR!http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

    • Flashman says:

20 bombs is the French military’s equivalent of recreational grieving: floral bouquets, candlelight vigils, choirs for peace and plastering a tricolor over Facebook profile selfies.

      0.5 per cent of f**k-all.

    • The Gantt Guy says:

20 bombs is a joke. Play-fighting. They have a choice, when they get serious about defeating ISIS.

Option 1: deploy 200,000 armed forces personnel to Iraq and Syria, on the understanding that it’s an indefinite deployment. They are there to support the same number of doctors, teachers, etc. who will work to civilise the uncivil.

Option 2: Turn Raqqa into a carpark.

Those are the only two options, if you’re serious about defeating ISIS.

That came from the first episode of Season 5 of a programme called “Homeland”, which used to be Barry’s favourite show (but likely isn’t any more). I’ll try and find the clip – I thought it powerful.

      • Wombat says:

Absent mosques and the high grass of fellow muslims to hide in local terrorism would be an impossibility.

Make a sad face, deport all muslims and demolish all mosques.

“You will be welcome back when you demonstrate you can live in peace.”

Then, leave their shithole nations alone, energy prices be damned, and glass the first nation that threatens us.

Not easiest road, but it’s the moral road and it also happens to be absolutely necessary.

        • Darin says:

When your enemy goes to ground, leave no ground for him to go to.

It was shown here after 9/11 that the true support network for terror operations around the world were all the hotels, convenience stores and restaurants they own.

That’s how they launder the money. I was told that unlike the rest of us,they are allowed to use muslim banking practices so very little if any of the money leaves a paper trail.

        • The Gantt Guy says:

Yep, and the day I see that happening, in even one civilised nation, it will reverse my opinion that the fall of western civilisation is inevitable, brought on by those we entrusted to nurture it.

Ole Remus is right on today:

“The time for importing more Moslems and forcing us to adopt and adore them is over. The time for reducing their numbers only in distant lands is over. The time for “bringing the perpetrators to justice” is over—it’s war, not a crime wave. The time for candle light vigils is over. Those in DC who won’t do what needs doing need to be compelled to step aside for those who will.

With each outrage, each act of war—their word—the moment is hastened when Moslems will gladly and wisely accept an invitation to self-deport rather than face the penalty for their effrontery in declining such generosity. “Force not subject to judicial review” isn’t off the table should things devolve far enough. The West is the go-to place for that sort of thing. So go ahead Ahmad, keep ringing the bell. See what’s behind Door Number One. “

  4. Robertv says:

    Q. Why are there no Muslims in Startrek?

    A. Because it’s set in the future!

    (it is not mine)

OT I know KG but I was wondering….If Blacks find being called gorillas so offensive, why do so many of their top sportsmen beat their chests in a dominance gesture when they best an opponent? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif
