Two Corinthians walk into a bar and one says to the other, “say did you hear what Donald Trump said about us?” Hmmm? Not so great.

When Barack Obama was an instructor of Constitutional Law at Columbia he was also busy as a community activists, and so was looking for ways to have his cake and eat it too, so he pre- records all his lectures on DVD and has his graduate assistant play the lecture-of-the-day to his classes.

Months pass and Obama hears no complaints, but decides to check in with his Columbia classes to see how his idea his working out, so he goes to his Monday morning class…and finds the room EMPTY!

Yes, the DVD is playing on the wall size HDTV monitor; however, on each empty desk and propped up by several books are tiny iphones with cameras and microphones recording his lecture.

    Moving right along….

Can anyone tell the title of the shortest book in the world?

    “Barack Obama: War Hero.”

The man who attempted to assassinate Obama is sentenced to death and since he’s a retired general, he is sent before a firing squad at Ft. Meade, Maryland.

The execution ceremony is well done – complete with Rogue’s March and the scene where all the general’s ribbons are pulled off one by one and thrown on the ground, and as a final disgrace, the Military Police captain breaks the general’s sword and spit on it.

Then the drum roll and final march to the execution wall. A chaplain prays for the general’s soul and the M.P captain and commander of the firing squad asks if disgraced officer has any last words…

    “Yes, I do!”

    “Go ahead, general!”

Cameras roll, reporters inch forward to hear the last of the old warrior and veteran of three wars….

“Barack H. Obama is a dirty black nigger, Communist, Muslim, traitor and queer as a three bill! My only regret is that my Special Forces team didn’t nail the fucker that morning and…”

The M.P. captain screams, “SHUT YOUR RACIST PIE HOLE, SIR! DO YOU WANT TO GET INTO REAL TROUBLE WITH OBAMA?”http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

    A Fate Worse Than Death
Two businessmen got talking in the bar at Perth Airport when their flight east was delayed. They introduced themselves as Devenish and Lane, talked about the weather and the football, and after a few drinks Lane excused himself.
When he returned from the mens room Devenish noticed that he was wearing a different wedding ring than before. Lane laughed and said he was imagining it, but Devenish continued to press the question. Eventually Lane admitted that he had changed rings. Suddenly very gloomy, Lane confessed to Devenish that he led a double life with families on opposite sides of the country.
Devenish could hardly believe what he was hearing. ‘That’s the most insane thing I’ve ever heard! What were you thinking? Do you know the penalty for bigamy?’
    Lane began to weep.
‘Sure do, mate,’ he sobbed. ‘Two wives.’

Sounds like a troubled kid with a good heart. More than likely he has that terrible syndrome so common in America called “oppositional defiant disorder”. I hope the support he’s getting from all corners is enough to help him realise that rebellion against stupidity is good, but rebellion for it’s own sake is a dead end road.

On the way to the station let’s get a twelve pack.

You’ll never get those cuffs on me…Punk!

Hey, wasn’t your daughter a pork queen?

How long is this going to take? Your wife is expecting me.

Hey officer, is that your nightstick or are you just glad to see me?

I’m surprised you stopped me, Dunkin Donuts has a 3 for 1 special!

Yeah you can see my license and registration, officer, but could you hold my beer for a minute?

Hey, you must’ve been doing’ about 125mph (200km/h) to keep up with me! Good job!

Sorry, Officer, I didn’t realize my radar detector wasn’t plugged in.

I thought you had to be in relatively good physical condition to be a Police Officer.

You know, I was going to be cop, but I decided to finish high school instead.

So, uh, you “on the take”, or what?

Gee, officer! That’s terrific. The police officer yesterday only gave me a warning too!

Do you know why you pulled me over? Good, at least one of us does.

So, are you still crabby because your mamma didn’t let you play with your gun when you were little?

I never really have supported the idea myself.I see it as a very steep slippery slope IMO and the support for it in the US originated almost exclusively from the left. That gets my spidey sense tingling anytime the left is putting something out there.

As a Christian I believe the circumstances in which suicide is acceptable are few.Extreme illness or imminent horrific death (9/11 jumpers as an example).I believe senility is preventable and not really a good reason.I was fortunate to have both sets of grandparents in my life well into my 30’s.All of them stayed active, stayed engaged and kept learning right until the end.The old saying “use it our loose it” I believe is very true.

    • Bo Chandler says:

If the right to life is fundamental then the right to waive it is fundamental too.

My question still is if Trump isn’t conservative enough, just exactly who is?http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

    • The Gantt Guy says:

I don’t think he’s a phony. I think he believes he’s the only one who knows what Conservatism really is; an incredibly arrogant position for anyone to take. He’s definitely a purist and at this stage still seeking the least impure candidate (Cruz, for now).

He is right, though. Trump isn’t a Conservative. At least, not in the traditional William F Buckley, Ronald Reagan way. He is, in fact, a Nationalist populist, and he’s doing an awful lot of pandering (ethanol in Iowa and “2 Corinthians” at Liberty U being only the latest examples).

I think Trump was right to punch back against Bush, against Paul, against Fiorina. He was wrong to go low on Cruz. Trump swung first, he swung low, and he was wrong.

Look, I get it. This is a GFY cycle. Two fingers at “the Establishment” (although how that reconciles with Trump’s claims that McConnell and a lot of the Senate RINOs are calling him and supporting him, I don’t exactly know). But please, don’t anyone try and package Trump as some kind of Conservative. He’s a rabble-rouser. He’s someone who speaks the truth (or at least, a version that he thinks his audience at the time will consider truth) in an ocean of lies.

Maybe a little Nationalist populism will be a good thing after 8 years of hope, change, and God Damn America?

      • Darin says:

Coulter, who I don’t always agree with,I think hit the mark a few weeks back when she basically said the following-

If you want to make any substantive change for the better in DC the first thing you have to do is win an election. So we were sold McCain and then Romney neither of which were conservative. We elected a bunch of conservatives in 2010 and 2014 who steadfastly went to DC and gave Obama everything he wanted and more.
This cycle they are pushing a pile of moderate at best, liberal at worst repub establishment has beens and a couple outside candidates that the establishment with help from the media have trashed.
Okay,so all we have left besides Trump,is Cruz.Okay I like Cruz I really do,but he has one negative,he has been in DC long enough, that I don’t fully trust him to stick to principle.Frankly both Trump and Cruz share that trait IMO.

        • The Gantt Guy says:

Again, the dream would be 2 terms of Trump/Cruz, then 2 terms of Cruz and ??.

I’m just suggesting that anyone who thinks Trump is a Conservative is fooling themselves. He is a nationalist populist and (as events have proven) a thin-skinned one. He is just as narcissistic and egotistic as Obama, and if he is the nominee, he will need someone like Cruz or even Rand Paul on the ticket with him, because without an anchor he will quite happily trash the Constitution just as much as Obama has (although of course he would – at least I hope he would – heap favour on different groups than Obama has).

The Republic is on fire. Trump is, at least it seems to me, the option the gives one of two possibilities. (1) He’s such a big swinging dick he’ll pee on the fire and put it out, or (2) he’s carrying a gas can and will happily finish the job. Is that needed at this point? Yes, of course. But he has no ideological anchor, and very little – if any – fealty to the Constitution. He would quite happily spray just as many Executive Orders around as Obama has.

Cruz has taken the fight to the corrupt bastards in Washington, and I simply can’t bring myself to believe it’s all been theatre. The simple fact is that since the Republicans took the Senate, Obama’s agenda has had less opposition than when the Dems controlled it, because when they were in the minority, the Repubs could put up a fight and pretend to oppose. There are very few people there who have continued to fight against Obama’s agenda, in the face of Mitch McConnell’s withering attacks. They are people like Mike Lee, Rand Paul and, most publicly, Ted Cruz. And I can’t bring myself to believe that’s all been Kabuki.

          • KG says:

“And I can’t bring myself to believe that’s all been Kabuki.”
I do admire faith and optimism.

            • The Gantt Guy says:

If it is theatre, Cruz and McConnell should get Oscars.

Hey, if Cruz gets an Oscar, maybe black people will stop boycotting?

              • KG says:

As long as the Constitution means what a few black-robed tyrants decides it means, then fealty to it on the part of politicians is a meaningless qualification. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_sad.gif

              • Bo Chandler says:

Look at it this way. Cruz may be a reformer but he’s only ever going to turn up to the sacrificial altar of DC with a can of paint and some gap filler.

Trump is a wrecking ball. We can only hope he will do for America what he’d do with any failing business that was going under while it’s CEOs raked in eight figure salaries.

I like your idea of Trump then Cruz.

She: And how long have you been drinking?
He: About 20 years, I suppose.

She: So a beer costs $5 and you have 3 beers a day which puts your spending each month at $450. In one year, it would be approximately $5400 …correct?
    He: Correct.

She: If in 1 year you spend $5400, not accounting for inflation, the past 20 years puts your spending at $108,000, correct?
    He: Correct.

She: Do you realize that if you didn’t drink so much beer, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting for compound interest for the past 20 years, you could have now bought a Ferrari?

When you opt for the private system over the public one what you’re paying for is accountability.

Because when 100 parents arrive at a private school angry about some facet of the curriculum they carry the inherent threat of taking their money elsewhere.

But when 100 angry parents arrive at a public school the overwhelming attitude is “fuck you all, I’m getting paid anyway.”

Setting a 0.95 drawstroke to first shot standard, from concealment is utterly fucking useless for a middle-aged housewife with her very first handgun and a concealed carry permit so new the ink isn’t even dry yet. The same principle applies to telling some scrawny dude wearing hipster skinny jeans that he needs to be able to squat 2x his bodyweight, dead lift 2.5x his bodyweight, and bench press 1.5x his bodyweight. He’s going to—righteously—look at you like you’ve got a dick growing out of your forehead.”

‘American exceptionalism! We’re not like the Taliban. Waah Waah Waah.’

        Like I said. Armchair militia.

    • Bo Chandler says:

Mosby is preaching a very unpopular message with the “three men sitting around a campfire calling each other colonel” crowd.

I once copped a lot of flack on a gun forum for suggesting that a militia would be better served recruiting from a gym than a shooting club.

Teaching someone to shoot is fast and easy.

Whipping a slob into shape is not.

      • Darin says:

I don’t sweat it,after seeing how things ran after Katrina,it doesn’t take long for even the overweight and aged to get it together so long as they are doers. The problem I have with gyms and fitness nuts is,gym’s are places where lazy people go to work, the rest of us that stay fit by working will have an easier time. The hardcore super fit types will definitely contribute to the fight from the outset, but let’s face it,that also means 1/2 of them will be dead 30 days in.I base my assumptions, that’s all any of this really is,on the idea that the average looking, normal behaving ordinary person that can walk through a crowd and go unnoticed is far more dangerous than the John J. Rambo guns blazing type.

        • Bo Chandler says:

Everyone will have a role to play. I’ve always maintained that even if the 70 year old fatty with cancer rolls up to the first checkpoint at 4am and put a bullet in the guard’s eye from the seat of his car then he’s already done more than his fair share.

Also, there’s a world of difference between someone being overweight and being a slob. I’ve seen overweight workers do some incredible things when pushed (though it took them a lot longer to recover). Likewise I’ve seen some skinny slobs get dizzy in the leadup to a fight before the first punch was ever thrown.

That said. More fitness is better, not just for the exciting stuff but in all facets of life.

p.s. I’m no superman. I collapsed, dry wretching at level five of the shuttle-run just yesterday afternoon. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

“This is very much a “just in time” economy and three days of no trucks rolling into L.A. or Stockton and you’re looking at one giant reset that won’t be at all dependent on any new theoretical insights.”

    Ain’t that the truth!

BTW, for those of you who are not familiar with Seattle, the residential districts bitching the most about the crime wave – Magnolia and Queen Anne – are upscale communities nearly 100% white upper middle class Democrats.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

Chattering media classes never seem to report lynchings favourably, unless you’re a dentist on a canned-hunt-gone-wrong.

But seriously, we’re at a stage where they know that not long after the street scum and the crooked cops go, the sycophant journalists will be next.

    http://news.yahoo.com/disquiet-grows-over-french-state-emergency-145826611.html

A permanent police state is now in place for France, but a number of the citizenry are concerned that some Mohammed Mohammeds are being disastrously confused with other Mohammed Mohammeds.

Once again, the Yahoo comment streams are heartening.

    • KG says:

      From your link:
‘None has been more divisive than a reform proposed by the Socialist president to strip French citizenship from people convicted of terrorist offences, if they have another nationality.

Rights activists, intellectuals as well as those within the Socialist party have criticised a measure they see as a betrayal of France’s founding principles, in which the republic is “one and indivisible”.
      The usual suspects.

70% want to keep the emergency powers, yet a tiny percentage of marxist filth get the headlines. And Yahoo is presenting that as some kind of groundswell of opinion.

      • Bo Chandler says:

France gets to choose between keeping their muslims and their state of emergency or getting rid of the muslims and enjoying streets without roaming Gestapo.

Frankly I don’t really see how it’s any sort of choice at all.
