Turncoat Turnbull

Or perhaps not…the bastard was always a leftist. after all:
‘Malcolm Turnbull’s allies are privately assuring Leftist media critics that Turnbull, once elected, will be as Left as they like. He’s just got to fool the voters and his party until then….’

There have been several opinion pieces in the Sydney or is it Daily Telegraph lately about this. Didn’t get to read Miranda Devine’s retort to a proud Delcon (Delusional Conservative, apparently she coined it).

Could it be that Australia, like the U.S, might be about to have their “conservative” parties smashed? I hope so, but I live in the country and have no-idea which way the wind blows in those big cities…

And it IS a city thing, DonD.

The Anglosphere are made up of like minded countries that were once part of the British Empire – the greatest nation in the history of the world that conquered one-fourth of the world’s land mass and commanded all the oceans of the world at its zenith in the early 20th century….

So it should be no surprise the politics of the Anglosphere – which were originally populated by transplanted Britons – are like trains running on parallel tracks on slightly difference time schedules that sooner or later will reach the same station.

Thus all the trains today are approaching the same destination called “nationalism” – a word long cursed because of the German Nazis – but in reality a word that simply describes the “The Nation” and the reason the British Empire came apart, starting with the American Revolution, as one by one, the mature children of the old empire realized that dear was the Mother Country, but still dearer were the folks around them.

What the International Socialists have done is an attempt to recreate British Empire on a such grand global scale as to make the nation-state a thing of the past. Well, the Left may have been successful in getting the world halfway to global tyranny, but its that last 50% that is rising up and the word not spoken except as an insult for generations, “nationalism” is gaining approval in the minds of We The People all over the Anglosphere.

What is nationalism? Nationalism can be many things – of course, it can take a very nasty form as the 1930s and 40s in Germany were proof. However, nationalism can have more positive form, as the robust American experience in the late 19th century when the country has finally united after civil war, industrialized, conquered the frontier and built the world’s first ocean to ocean railroad system.

Yes, Australian nationalism will be different…Ditto New Zealand nationalism…Ditto Canadian nationalism…Ditto British nationalism. Like I said before, nationalism can take many forms, including a less harmful socialist form, as is not case today. I think American nationalism would be a more capitalist variety than the rest of the Anglosphere, but would not constitute a threat to the more socialist form of nationalism in the rest of the Anglosphere and the world.

World government? It’s not needed now or in the future. Nation-States make treaties with one another. My country went to war twice with the British Empire, but when the dust had finally settled after the last round of Redcoats and Rebels in 1815, we made treaties with the British that stood the test of time. Can you imagine the United States invading Canada today? Unthinkable! It would be like the state of Georgia invading Florida, or New York attacking Vermont. It ain’t gonna happen. So why the hell do we need the United Nations to keep the peace? At some point, nations always bury the hatchet, make a treaty, start trade, exchange tourists and one day wonder why the hell they went to war with one another in the past.

Nations like people are unique and we should all be especially proud to be Americans, British, Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders! Our right hand of friendship is out to the world, we are nice guys who play fair with foreigners if they play fair with us. We seek not one square of land that does not belong us – and we invite the world to visit our countries.

In any event, the die is cast. The Genie of nationalism is not going back in the bottle. The game is afoot and whether we like or not, We The People of the Anglosphere are in the game.

        What to do?

Like the old British Empire builders would say, “Play Up, Play Up. Play The Game.”http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif
