Fairfax, the owners of NZ’s Stuff “News” look like they’ve been taking lessons from Herr Goebbels, with their relentless negative coverage of the Trump Presidency. The NZ Herald is no better.
This isn’t reporting, it’s naked propaganda. They’re carrying article after article – often sourced from American leftist “news” outlets – which criticise Trump for things they conveniently ignored during Obama’s Presidency and casting Trump in the worst light possible. To suggest that he’s anti-Semitic and promoting racism is mind-boggling, given Obama’s proven abysmal record for exactly those things.
Their coverage of black thuggery, fascist demonstrations against free speech by leftist thugs and the huge damage and expense caused by illegal “immigration” is minimal and grossly distorted.
This isn’t journalism, it’s not even honest reporting. Nor is it mere partisanship. It’s lying in the service of socialism and doing NZ readers a huge disservice.
Leftists/”progressives”/socialists are not welcome here. Pay for your own soapbox.

The NZ media (barely deserve the title) do not think, appraise, reflect, ponder etc…they spew, vent and pollute. The grinding assaults on Trump reveal nothing more than their inability to convey worthwhile news. They’re a waste of time.
I had the radio on in the car Sunday morning listening to a garden / building type program and even in that one of the hosts spouted off about Trump despite it being irrelevent to the program. I don’t care what the host’s personal views about American politics are. The other radio station I listen to in the car also has anti Trump rhetoric spread among normal programming. I’m getting sick of it and am about to turn both ZB and Live off permanently.
Well Brown, a few months ago when I was listening to the radio, the hostess said that Trump is an actor, and isn’t fit to be President. So here we go again. I just turned it off for a half hour.
Communist propaganda – The Leftist Media – Lamestream Media – call it what you will -Here in the States we live at Ground Zero and Bolshevik bull shit rolls off our backs like water off a duck’s back, and Trump poll numbers that stand at over 50% prove how ineffective it is….We have the Internet,,,Fox News…Rush Limbaugh. Those are our sources of real news and commentary.
If you think your being inundated in NZ, try living in the US. The media have turned it up to 11. That said, the beauty over here is that Trump is effectively getting out his message in spite of the media. Our media is creating new Trump voters daily.
The New Zealand Herald should be called ‘The New Marxist Communist Herald’. Maybe that’s what we should say next time we get subscription offers, that we think of you as ‘the new marxist communist herald’, prove to us we’re wrong and maybe we’ll buy otherwise we’ll pass the message on. Maybe they’ll do something then.
Obviously, the powers that be in NZ are scared to death that a Trump like populous uprising may occur there. NZ right might want to take advantage of the deranged over the top negative reporting because, as they say, you want more Trump? That’s how you get more Trump.
Their’s no such thing as bad publicity, and publicity will get more people onboard.

I have to disagree with about Fox News, Darin. Have you watched their morning show between 6 and 9 am EDT? It’s pro-American all the way – and Trump himself gave this program a shout out saying it should be the model for real news and commentary.
Yes, Fox needs to do a purge and get rid of all the Leftists on the payroll; however, at least two of them have moved away to NBC since Trump was elected, so maybe the rest will “Self-deport” and be replaced with Rightist like Tucker Carlson.

Well Darin, that’s what I decided about 3 years ago. We have freeview and skybox, to watch anything you need those. So they told people you must have this to watch anything. That’s when I decided I can’t be bothered. I have many movies and TV shows on DVD. The stuff on TV is nothing but filth anyways.
So I haven’t watched anything on TV that is at my own house and I don’t miss it.
I was with my daughter in the US last week and each night we turned on the “what Trump did next” show. Trump made his “media are the enemy of the American people speech” and the media were all over it in indignation, A preposterous exaggeration? Or a brilliant way of getting an antagonistic media to spread your message.
Knowing Trump,probably the latter,all through the campaign he played the media like a fiddle,no reason to stop that now.
We here are all preaching to the converted. How do we break through to the others? I have no idea. Will it take another 9/11?

Job one: reduce the number of illegal aliens and make damn sure any left can’t vote.
Job two: require colleges to have ideological diversity instead of working as leftist indoctrination centers.
