          Can you imagine if Robert E. Lee had refused to fight the Federals at Gettysburg – and instead had marched south and attacked Washington, D.C. with no opposition because the U.S. Army was dug in on Missionary Ridge waiting on the Army of Northern Virginia to attack them?

          Actually this what his second in command – “Old Pete” Longstreet wanted to do, but was overruled by Lee, who apparently still believed that frontal attacks against prepared positions with lots of rifles and cannons defending the high ground wasn’t military suicide.

          Hmmm? Maybe Antifa is pulling a feint and attacking Washington, D.C. while the Federals are massing at Gettysburg?
