I’ve long maintained that climate hysteria is a religion. Once recognized as such, that fact could have been used to prevent the followers of that faith from eliminating all who disagree with them from every department in the United States government.

Sadly, no legal team has attempted to save a single professional from being pushed out of their government position, or out of any educational system funded by federal tax dollars. There must be a reason that it’s never been attempted since countless suits that are far more harebrained turn up in the news regularly. Could it surprise anyone were it revealed that the first institution the Progs seized control of was the legal profession?

It is not easy to keep track of the fall of our institutions to Conquest’s Second Law of Politics to the “Progressive” Movement. However, in recent years it seems the takeover of science by climate hysterics has moved at a pace that was faster than all other assaults by the Progs.

It should never have come to this. Americans need to seriously consider repenting their laxity in keeping the political class from rising to ruling class status, seemingly unanswerable to their votes.

It is never too late to regret our foolishness and seek to do better. Simply pray that it is not too late.

Well, in our world there are many wannabe despots. So for the remainder of this series I will be using the pronouns they or them unless some particular fool dares raise his head above the rest. (There will undoubtedly rise a Stalin or Mao somewhere down the road who will eliminate all potential rivals. But in the foreseeable future any who dares stand up almost certainly will be cut down by the agents of the rest.)

Yesterday, in Daniel Greenfield’s The End of Debate, he brought to light a collaboration among world leaders to agree en masse what is and is not mis- or dis- information.

He did not say it, but to me the clear objective of the UN meeting was for the international charlatans to find safety in numbers. One after the other speaker sought to feel comfortable that the others would not denounce them should they encounter the need to censor, persecute, or imprison anyone back home who dared debate the underlying “facts” supporting an unpopular decision.

Being old and still having a good memory of obscure happenings that resonate with current events may be one reason I should publish more often. I commented to Greenfield:

The way each speaker invoked the word disinformation is reminiscent of a National Press Club luncheon circa 1988-1992. It was [I heard it] broadcast on NPR. That day the keyword repeated was not disinformation. It was draconian. Each speaker, presumably members of the press and its academy, spoke of the need for the American public to experience draconian rule.

Even in the recent past these are words that almost never had to be said. That was because so many mostly lived like that that it rarely needed to be said. Sad to say, those days are long past due to the Left/Statist assault on Western civilization and its culture.

Because of that ongoing assault, decent people everywhere need to face the harsh reality. Anyone — especially the highly privileged — who refuses to utter these words for any number of reasons do not themselves deserve to live.

For all of my brothers and sisters who claim to be pro-life, this is your mantra.

Repeat it at every rally, after every sermon, at every event whatsoever. Let it take the place of “the wave” in stadiums. When you end a phone call, say it after good bye. Make it a bye word.

Maybe, just maybe, there will be one or more high level politicians who will begin to get the message. Encourage as many as possible to repent of his or her “Sustainability” agenda. Give them reason to face the prospect that met their late brethren, Nicolae Ceaușescu, should they fail to repent.

Lord knows, many who were deserving of mercy in the last 2+ years certainly didn’t get any. So best to consider your options. Do you wish to maybe increase your chances of living? Or do you wish to simply take your chances that unrepentent elitists will simply overlook you in their drive to eliminate something close to 7 billion souls?
