The rabbi moved to a location a short distance away to give his speech, but was unable to address supporters at Speakers’ Corner itself.

Speakers’ Corner is the epicenter of the tradition of free speech in England. Up until now it has stood as a sanctuary, a sacred place in the heart of English civil liberties.

If you can’t speak out at Speakers’ Corner, then free speech in England is dead.’

‘If you can’t see the video, here’s the summary: over in IL-08 they had a debate between Rep. Melissa Bean and Joe Walsh, run by the League of Women Voters. Somebody in the audience interrupts the beginning to ask if they were going to start with the Pledge of Allegiance. The moderator – stupidly, stupidly, stupidly – says ‘no,’ starts lecturing the crowd on how that was never required in the past… and gets drowned out by the audience getting to its feet and reciting the Pledge over her spluttering.’

‘Seven workers are going door to door in Yuma County to get eligible Latino voters to register for permanent early voting ballots. “They are going by precinct and talking to folks,” said Francisco Heredia, Arizona state director for Mi Familia Vota and spokesman for One Arizona, the organizations behind the effort. “It has been mainly Latino voters that we are trying to make sure sign up on the permanent early voter list (Snip) In just two months, the seven canvassers have gotten more than 3,000 local Hispanics to sign up for the early ballot.’

Seventeen months after the Eric Holder Justice Department dismissed a slam-dunk case against the New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation, the Post gets around to printing a thorough vetting of the dismissal. The story is slated for Saturday’s print edition. While other media like Breitbart/The Bigs, Fox News, the Washington Times, the Weekly Standard, Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Investors Business Daily, Pajamas Media, and Drudge have had dozens of stories on the corrupt New Black Panther dismissal, the Washington Post at last is in the game.
The story is a shocker too. The shock comes from the middle of the road and factual nature of the story.
