If they caused one tenth of the deaths muslims do, you might have a point, Harawira–you racist pig.

Wabbit has been ensconced in the sixth floor of a waterfront hotel for the past few days, drinking beer, eating Italian food–and setting up this Lenovo ThinkPad which has a fresh install of Vista business edition.
What a clunky, counter-intuitive heap of shit this is. 120+ security updates, which took two and a half hours on a reasonable wireless connection. A whole series of idiotic, roundabout processes needed to set the bloody thing up and a lack of information at every stage. It’s a good reminder of why I changed to a Mac and the brilliant OS-X operating system. How Microsoft gets away with selling products which aren’t fit for purpose beats me. The same jobs on the Mac would have taken half an hour, max.

That Americans are arming,here are a few examples.Walmart,our largest discount retailer stocks ammunition in 1400 stores nationwide.They are sold out of every common caliber made ,and this has been the case for the last month.Walmart also allows you to shop online,if they are out of a product you want at your local store,you can look it up online and click on the e-mail/text notification tab.When the item is logged back into stock at the store you automatically receive an e-mail or text alerting you that it’s back in stock.Our local store sporting goods manager told me they got in a pallet of .223/5.56mm ammo,15,000 rounds worth……it was gone,shelves stripped bare in 45 minutes.

In addition to Walmart,there are maybe 20 odd traditional sporting goods chain stores nationwide.They are also sold out.Then there are the online suppliers,the guys who sell bulk ammo at a discount.The place where I buy mine stocks normally 10-15,000,000 rounds of the various calibers at any given time.Even with 2 case limits per order they are down to less than 50,000 rounds and those are all odd calibers.

It’s the same situation with guns.Anything that holds a magazine is gone,bought off the shelves in a matter of a few days.The only things left are some shotguns,revolvers and some very expensive AR15’S.

Same holds true for reloading equipment and supplies.No presses,no brass,no bullets and very little powder are to be had.In all my years no one could have ever convinced me that .22lr cartridges would be hard to get,they are staples of existence like Bread,Milk and Sugar,but alas none to be had anywhere.

It’s hard to pin down a number of how many rounds of ammo have been sold since election day 2012.Some put it at between 15 and 40Billion rounds.This is an old report from 2009.

So, how does this work? Kill children in their thousands during the first trimester, and women are exercising their rights, not being one who “violently kills or harms an unborn child”.   Decide to carry the child to full term, but smoke or drink during pregnancy and they’re criminals….
Does the police union propose testing smoking and drinking women at random to determine whether they’re pregnant? (As an aside, how on earth did we manage to raise perfectly healthy kids before the Age Of The Zealots?)
