Australia just bought a fleet of these:

c27j_spartan ‘..Currently a gunship version of the C-27J Spartan is being actively discussed due to the high maneuverability of this aircraft. It should be noted, that it is the only aircraft in its class, that can reach 3g doing tight turns, fast climbs and descends. Another important feature of this aircraft is that it needs only 300 m long runway in order to land and 500 m to take off with maximum load…’
They’re a brilliant airplane and exactly what the Army needs. Great for disaster relief work, too.

Creeping tyranny, and barely a murmur of dissent:

NZ:
‘Dangers for democracy in today’s cyber bullying law
Every MP, bar one, will vote this afternoon for a piece of legislation that seeks to protect those being “harmed” by material on the internet. But the Harmful Digital Communications Bill is being widely criticised as dangerous in the way it seeks to regulate online activities.
…Although originally introduced by Judith Collins, it is now being pushed though Parliament by Amy Adams..’
And there you have it – two stupid, arrogant assholes who confuse their taxpayer-funded responsibilities with playing mommy to a bunch of dumb little girls who don’t know how to reach for the “off” button. Far easier for these indoctrinated wombles to claim that they’re “offended or “hurt”. And mommy comes to the rescue. Never mind free speech – the poor dears must be protected from reality, whatever the cost to democracy and liberty. *spit*

And this idiot is a lawyer!

NZ:
‘So common is political foolishness that it has become barely remarkable. But wrong in principle and crooked in logic, ( National Party MP) Judith Collins’ effort last week was a special example.
In a newspaper column, Collins expressed outrage that charges relating to the Red Devils Motorcycle Club were dropped due to what Justice David Collins described as “serious misconduct” and possible “serious criminal offending” by police. She bristled at the suggestion that any action be taken against the offending police officers.
….Judith Collins’s view on this is frightful. A former justice minister should not need reminding that the integrity of the justice system is paramount. And that the police are not above the law.’
Why do so many women in senior positions have so much trouble separating logic and emotion?

So what about that Debbie?

When does the nation and the black community get an apology?

“In an open letter to DNC Chairman Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz, Jeffrey Lord provides a readout of the tangled history of the Democratic Party with slavery, segregation, lynching, and the Ku Klux Klan. Lord draws on the Democratic Party platforms of 1840, 1844, 1856 and 1860. He adds that, as the Civil War drew to a close, the Democrats opposed the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment (ending slavery), and proceeded afterwards also to oppose the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments. Lord has more, all in the spirit of the moment; Lord calls on Schultz to apologize on behalf of the party.”

Hahahaha!

From the NZ Herald:
‘If Housing NZ has its way, no one will be able to easily say ‘that’s state housing’ – see its latest plans for new Auckland homes…’
Of course they won’t – if they can ignore the rusty wrecks all over what used to be front lawns, the broken bottles and garbage strewn about, the late-night noise, the flashing lights of police patrol cars and the rash of burglaries in the surrounding area.

‘Be the Best Saboteur You Can Be’

1CommBLossingLG ‘..When we act and when we talk it is vitally important that we distinguish between the legitimate laws we follow and the illegitimate laws we comply with.
This may seem like a technicality, but it’s a technicality that tyrannies have fallen on.
Every liberal victory is not a triumph. It is another pile of dirt on their own graves. It is another straw on the back of the camel. It is another demonstration that they are corrupt and illegitimate. Their latest victories were gained by abusing the process. They will in the long run lose them just as criminals eventually lose their loot. They have not defeated us. They have corrupted themselves…’

The coordinated lone wolves of no particular faith

Australian P.M. Tony Abbott insists Islam had nothing to do with last week’s shooting of tourists in Tunisia, bombing of Shia worshippers in Kuwait and beheading of a man in France.
“What’s being done by Daish (the Islamic State) has nothing to do with God, it has nothing to do with religion,” he claimed on Saturday.
As Andrew Bolt says, if religion had nothing to do with the attacks, why has Tunisia’s president just ordered 80 of the country’s mosques to be closed in response?
Abbott’s words are dishonest and an insult to Australians.

Francis Porretto:

‘..Allow me to tote up what we have lost, these few years past.
There is no longer a Supreme Law in these United States. Indeed, there is no longer law as Americans have traditionally understood it. Therefore, there is no rule of law. How could there be, when judges have arrogated the privilege of rewriting the actual text of a law to reach a decision in harmony with their preferences?…’
