  1. Where’s Mao? He’s all that’s missing.

Yes indeed. I find the return of this style disturbing, Rona, because they no longer feel it’s necessary to camouflage their ideological base.
(Perhaps because there a now generations who are too uninformed to recognise the style for what it is.)

Over at Counting Cats, I just got into a long drawn out argument that hit several points, one of which was whether morality was innate (the argument of secular humanists such as Dawkins and Hitchens), or arose out of the Judeo-Christian religions. Within that rubric, I argued that Christianity elevates the individual and sanctity of life as the greatest moral good, while no other ethic or moral system does that. In particular, I drew a comparison to the greenies, who elevate protection of Gaia to be the greatest good. When I commented that I would expect that a green autocracy would implement policies every bit as destructive as Stalin’s collectivization policies or Mao’s Cultural Revolution, I was met with disbelief. While the above poster is not proof of that, it certainly goes a ways to making my point.

    Australian Democratic Republic?

All that’s missing is the image of State President [for life] Gillard beaming down on the comrades from the cloud at top left.

Gotta love that communist realism genre.

Surely the person who proposed and did the artwork was taking the piss, only to have the joke blow up in their face buy being accepted!
Greenies have already stated that they want under 1billion people on the earth, and that people should live on 1 acre allotments.
So their leaders’ ultimate plans involve the culling of 6Billion people, thereby putting the likes of Stalin, Pol Pot and Hitler firmly in the ranks of Amateurs. When you call them out on this stuff, and ask if they are going to lead the way by killing their families and then themselves, there is for some reason, an objection to the logic. They always seem to recommend culling someone else… usually its the Africans, Indians, or Asians…. and these ‘great thinkers’ and progressivists have the gall to call us racists.

“..and these ‘great thinkers’ and progressivists have the gall to call us racists.”
Yeah, exactly. Never forget the KKK was the Democrat’s creation. ;-)

    Sean Penn

is said to be suicidally depressed on hearing news of the Dear Leader’s passing.

Let’s hope he acts on his feelings soon.
