To find those places, one has to get out of, or stay away from, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, El Paso, etc., ……………………………… one of the most memorable drives is along I {Interstate} -10 …………………………… there are MILES of mesas {flat-topped, minimal-vegetation sandy hills – can’t find ANY photos, sorry} with wind generators ………………………… a lot of the photos in the video remind me of where I spent a goodly portion of my childhood, south of San Antonio, in the little flyspeck-on-a-map town of Charlotte …………………………… 30+ miles outside Houston, Cleveland, TX, looks a lot like those photos, the WalMart ‘SuperCenter’ notwithstanding …………………………

Country music usually gets on my nerves, but these are actually good.
I guess like all genres, Elijah, it has it’s share of crap. Some of the best country music gets almost no airplay, unfortunately.
