Time for the rope and tree. Now.

‘Fighting on the beaches as council orders retreat from climate change ‘threat’..’
‘..It’s simple bliss: Anne, a retired clerk, spends time keeping up her neat garden; Russell, a retired mechanic, angles on the beach for blackfish, flathead and bream. But yesterday the Secombes’ sense of hard-earned stability collapsed when they discovered they could be among the first victims in Australia to be dispossessed of their home. Not because of any existing environmental threat, but because the local council believes climate change could pose one by the end of the century.’
Seriously. It’s time to kill a few of these fuckers as a warning to the rest to back off.

These bastards get nowhere near enough attention. People shine a light on crooked pollies at national lever (and state level here in Australia), but it’s the local council that destroys private property rights at the local level. One of the very few things the quisling Key government has done that I agree with is repealing (or at least planning to repeal) the power of general competence enacted by the Klarkenfuhrer in the 2002 Local Goernment Act. In fact in my opinion, if Conservatives really want to make a difference, I believe the best ways to do it are to become involved in loal body politics, and joining a local electorate party. There, we can advocate in favour of liberty with the hope of actually making a difference.

  2. Andrei says:

We are so over governed it is ridiculous – and the problem is that those doing the over governing are insane :!:

  3. Cadwallader says:

The RMA and the LGA 2002 are like sex toys to the NZ equivalent of these pricks. They can’t keep their hands off them while they receive unimaginable pleasures from them!
The absurdity of compelling private citizens to follow their “policies” (read superstitions) is illogical and intrusive. Tanks and guns are no longer the weapons of choice: Clipboards and local authority whims are! Even allowing for man-made climate change, a predominant superstition, why harass property owners ninety years in advance? Every generation yields a fresh Hitler.

      :whoop

Comment of the day, and before 9am!

Although, with Labor facing extinction in Queensland, I suspect today will be comment comedy gold.

      • Ronbo says:

Yes, but as we have seen in America, voting the Leftards out of office doesn’t do much good, as they run back into the sewers, breed and come at you again.

Clearly, the destruction of the Left cannot come until their nests in Academia. Media and the Bureaucracy are put to the torch.

The only way this mission can be accomplished is to reduce the federal (central) government to the bare minimum of functions (national defense, etc.) and end the welfare state.

  4. KG says:

That two people can have their retirement destroyed, their life savings trashed, by a few fucking bureaucrats –who they employ-and on the flimsiest of pretexts is an outrage. And an outrage which deserves nothing less than the prosecution and destruction of the council employees.
You’re absolutely right, Gantt–any fightback has to start with the fucking nazis on local councils. I hate these bastards.

  5. oswald bastable says:

The way to fight this is to put a very public face to the anonymous jobsworths and petty officials that enable these outrages.

Photos, addresses and home numbers published on the net and on old-fashioned handbills!

    Intrude into THEIR private lives.

Some may say that their families will get hurt, but did they not visit harm on families first- using the many powers of the state apparatus?

Like vampires, jobsworths hate the light of day!

    • KG says:

Damn good idea, Oswald. Because right now, these pieces of shit have enormous power with no real accountability. They need to be shown that there’s a price to pay.
As things stand, they suffer no personal consequences for decisions which ruin innocent people. The very people who pay their salaries. This isn’t just and it has to be stopped somehow.

  6. KG says:

Something else that occurs to me about the subject of the post…it’s entirely possible that some of these leeches can see the writing on the wall for the AGW scam, and after they’ve dispossessed these homeowners, they’ll be able to turn round and sell off some very valuable prime waterfront land -which they will now own -some time in the near future.
Too cynical? I don’t think so.

    • Cadwallader says:

Completely plausible. Trying to buy land from Local Authorities in their version of a “closed tender process” will expose the duplicitous nature of these cretins. You can be universally assured that their cronies, who may well be plying cash incentives, always know where the tenders rest before public disclosure. I know somebody, only this week, who has been done over by a Canterbury local authority.
The escape clause invariably is: “The highest nor any tender, need not be accepted.” What rules on the day may well be secretive money deals, private xenophobia or simply exercising an old grudge.
The pricks who work for local authorities are immune from the public’s scrutiny as they are not elected but remain in their sinecures protected by the usual public service union-ised shields.

  7. Darin says:

Sounds like it’s time for these folks to come out of retirement and run for local office.

  8. Ronbo says:

I like the idea of Judge Lynch and the rope as a quick and final way of ending the debate on The Great Global Warming Hoax.

I mean if some Leftist mystics just won’t listen to reason and facts, what is a sane person to do?

    • KG says:

 Start cutting some lengths of hemp rope, get out the popcorn… :popcorn

    • Cadwallader says:

Pending having all local authority pricks sacked (which is unrealistic) the only practical choice available to mere mortals is to ignore them. The local authority bully-boys detest having oxygen and sunshine on their activities therefore if one stares them down they need to take overt action. This is not their method of choice as it opens them up to widespread scrutiny.
