The Soviet puppet:

President Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.”
President Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…”
President Obama: “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”
President Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”                       Karl Rove’s thoughts on this.

    Disgusting little traitor.

I see, for a change, the Republicans are all over him for his comment.

    • KG says:

To my surprise…but they’ll need to keep up the scrutiny right up until the elections.
His language in that exchange is that of a servant to his masters.

  2. The Gantt Guy says:

I think on this one, Zero has given the Repubs their election advertising. If they don’t pull him to shreds just in that one quite alone, they don’t deserve to win. And if they don’t win, we all lose.

  3. KG says:

“And if they don’t win, we all lose.”
    Ain’t that the truth.

  4. David says:

Could someone jog my memory, what is the penalty for treason ? Hmmm………

    • KG says:

For it to be treason, he would have to be an American citizen, David.

      • mawm says:

Yes. I have to admit to rethinking my original post….how can a person who is not a citizen be a traitor? Spy? Foreign operative….out of uniform? Firing squad! :gunner

      • Darin says:

Read between the lines, this isn’t just simple treason, this is helping the Russians settle an old score with Poland. They are still pissed about Poland starting the Domino effect that brought down the empire and this treason by Obama is going to hurt Poland worse than it will hurt us in the US.

Plus it’s doesn’t hurt to piss off and humiliate one of our best allies either in the eyes of Obama.

  5. Adolf Fiinkensein says:

Karl Rove certainly thinks this time he’s cooked his goose.

Who was it said ‘politics is all about events, dear boy. Events.’

This sure as hell is a ‘event’ of considerable proportion.

  6. Moneo says:

If by some miracle Obama is removed from office without bloodshed, I wonder if the next President will have the guts to expose the inner workings of his admin, or whether it will all be swept under the rug just as Ford did for Nixon.

    • KG says:

I’d guess it will be quietly buried, Moneo. Politicians have more in common with one another than with the people they supposedly represent.

      • The Gantt Guy says:

Yup. Can anyone imagine Romney pulling back the covers on all of the fraud, all of the corruption, all of what was known at the White House about (for example) Fast & Furious?

Incidentally, I heard an interesting theory today. Seems the Obamacare case isn’t going too well in the SC. What if the Feds aren’t trying too hard?. If the Feds win in the SC and Zerocare comes in, he loses the next election. If they lose he can say to ‘his’ people: “Look bro, I tried to get you the medical insurance, but those white folks in the Republican Party, they got the Supreme Court to block it.” result: Zero beats Romney, has a second term in the White House and the world is officially fucked.

        • Darin says:

Gantt, his people are going to vote for him no matter what.He could commit cold blooded murder on prime time TV and they would still vote for him.Sadly fully 45% of the vote will go to him no matter what.

Same holds true for any Republican,45% will vote Rep no matter what,it’s the 10% moderate vote in the middle that will determine the election.

I listened to the SCOTUS arguements lastnight,it’s not a matter of trying,it’s a matter of simply not having any legal standing.By rights it should be a simple 5-4 split decision for striking the law down in full or in part unless one of the conservatives waffles that is.

          • The Gantt Guy says:

It’s gonna be 5-4 one way or the other. Everybody is looking at Kennedy, because the others have already made up their minds. Four originalists and four utopian Statists. And Kennedy.

Fucking amazing something so far outside constitutional boundaries is gonna come down to a coin-toss.

            • The Gantt Guy says:

Unbelievable. The fate and future of the greatest, freest society ever devised by man is being decided right now, and there’s absolutely nothing in the ancient media here in the colonies!

      • Darin says:

One thing is for sure,if the next president doesn’t do a thorough house cleaning I have no hope for any meaningful change in course or direction.

        • The Gantt Guy says:

Starting with the A-G, and moving quickly to the ‘Czars’. Close down 75% of federal government departments.

Do that, and the US has some slim chance of surviving.

          • Darin says:

We would have a very good chance if we could do that.About 2/3 of our debt is projected.Deep sixing Obamacare alone will knock $2T off it.

Combine that with a 10% corporate flat tax and a 10% flat income tax and you will see the worlds industrial powerhouse restart it’s engines.
We also need to form a trade preference pact with the free nations of the world and stop sending our money to prop up socialism and terrorism.

One thing is for sure, the next president is going to have to-

  7. What a telling moment, speaking volumes about where his interests lie.

    • KG says:

It sure is, RWT. And very ominous indeed.
He’s getting to have something of a history of cuddling up to enemies while ignoring (or undermining) allies. The Saudis (although Bush did too, there), Pakistan, Russia….
None of them will ever be allies, whereas Poland, India and just about the whole of Eastern Europe could be.
