  1. Have to share this
For those that dont know..Noel Leeming is an appliance retailer.

Hone Harawira was in Noel Leeming.
He was there to protest the fact that most of the washing machines
    were white.
So the clerk called the store manager, who asked, “What’s the problem
    here, Hone?”
Hone pointed at the machines and loudly bemoaned the fact That most of
    them were white.
The manager replied, “Well, Hone, it’s true that most of the washing
machines are white, but if you’ll open the lids, You’ll see that all
    the agitators are black.”

  2. 12:14am looks like SCOTUS has not struck down the individual mandate of Obamacare.

  3. Muriel Newman has a good piece on Agenda 21. It might be worth a link. It is beyond my ability with a smart phone. mawm

  4. I chase my wild pigs at 9:30 pm at the ‘Milf Bar’ which is on the corner of Milford Rd and Kitchener Road, Milford, Auckland. See you there!

    • Haha I gave up Pig Hunting in the city years ago. Are there a bigger colony of wild pigs over the shore??

      • Dunno about a bigger colony, Spidy, but if my experience is typical they’re easier to catch. To mix up the metaphor, they come in with the tide, swim up the beach and after a couple of drinks they pretty much jump straight into the net.

  5. From the NZ Herald recently, in an article on “exploding popular myths”:
“Myth: almost half of all New Zealanders will soon be non-European
Fact: By 2026, NZ will be 16% Maori, 16% Asian, 10% Pacific and Europeans will still comprise 70%.”

In which case, why doesn’t it bloody well FEEL like that !? (Especially when I see photos of school groups  )

    • Yep its just an article to try and convince us its not the case. 55% of school kids come from non-white backgrounds in Auckland and 35% of those under 12 speak another laungage at home.

Im convinced we only make up 40% of Aucklands population and its getting worse every year. The last 3 years especially has tipped to a critical mass!!

      • Yeah, Grappler, THOSE are the statistics I’m instinctively feeling

  6. The Gantt Guy. “They come in with the tide, swim up the beach and after a couple of drinks they pretty much jump straight into the net.” Yes they do. Mostly, the mothers and fathers involved are simple people and they breed simple children.

  7. Something that Orwell predicted in 1984 that did not come to pass in the manner in which he defined it, was Duckspeak.

However, I realized due to a major event this week that it does indeed exist, and has for some time. It was simply more clear this time of how it has manifested itself all these years. Duckspeak of a Sorts.

    • Even more striking are the things not spoken of in this regime.During the Bush admin we had daily reminders from every news outlet three and four times a day “marking another grim milestone in the war on terror” followed by the days combat deaths in Iraq or Afganistan. Now under Obama there isn’t even a peep.Troopers die and there isn’t even a mention.Afganistan really is the “forgotten war” now under Obama.

The new trend in media,at least when there is a Dem in office is “Exaggerate the positive Obfuscate the negative”.There has been nothing in the news about the death toll in Afganistan, nothing about Fast and furious and even less about all the taxes, damage and loss of liberty Obamacare will inflict on every American.

      • Yep. That is spin. Spin is part of how Duckspeak has manifested itself. The regime or person or media allies spin as a form of ducking the real questions. We should make a habit, therefor, to stop using the word “spin”— as in “you are spinning” or “they are spinning”— and begin to say as we all once did. “If you are innocent, why are you repeatedly ducking the question?”
