‘Vandals destroy rowing club’s boats
The Horowhenua Rowing Club treasurer fears there may be more attacks on the club, after vandals broke in and destroyed all but two of the club’s boats.
Jo Mason discovered the damage to the Levin club on Saturday morning.
“A hole had been cut through the iron, and the shed was entered and 25 boats were pulled off their storage racks and had holes, made with some sort of hammer, broken through all of the hulls.”
…….The financially strapped club maintains their gear carefully to avoid costly repairs.
The attack came after a long-running dispute with Maori activists over the ownership of Lake Horowhenua.
Ms Mason said the club had been targeted by threats from the group since 2007.’
This isn’t a one-off. It’s part of a long-running pattern of maori threats, intimidation, vandalism and assaults all over New Zealand. Businesses have been destroyed, a family burned out of their farm house and countless people inconvenienced as maori blockade roads while the police do nothing. These are the people John Key and his government are in bed with.

    Now that’s a disgrace closer to home. Give the :censor an inch (or their mates million$ upon million$) and they take a tool (the construction and use thereof) beyond their understanding to superior canoes.

      There is no fucking difference, Adolf, unless we’re talking about a cultural difference, one between those who build and pay and those who simply consume and destroy.
      I’m sick and tired of apologists for primitive scumbags who mindlessly recite the “all maori aren’t like that” mantra.
      The behaviour comes from somewhere, and it’s sure as hell not from European culture, otherwise we’d be killing our kids at the same rate and bludging off the taxpayer at the same rate.
      Harawira and co are representative, not exceptions.
      And you should be “big enough” to admit that your hero Key is an abject grovelling failure, a corrupt asshole who has turned out to be no better than his odious predecessor.

      At first I thought the good Dr would be dismayed- Hatfield splitting the thug-racist vote.
      Now I reckon Sharples knew all along it wouldn’t matter how irrelevant he and his mates would become, there’s always a seat at the table for the “indigenous”.

      I don’t presume to speak for KG, but I’m guessing that an unwanted racist is an unwanted racist (and it appears the indig community have continued to regress just as fast in spite of/because of their insider).

    That lake is said by the local maoris as a traditional food supplier. This is a joke as it is really not much more than a swamp. I’d not eat an eel or anything else out of it.       Why would he change the habits of a lifetime (6 years being several lifetimes in politics)? He still believes the Quisling Key to be The Chosen One to lead New Zealand to health, wealth and prosperity, The One upon whose ascension was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal. It wasn’t that long ago he was arguing for an Australian-style taxation system, with compulsory superannuation and a massive, punitive income tax rate to be applied to the most productive and entrepreneurial. He is no less a wealth-redistributing socialist than John Minto.

      He utterly fails to understand a radical Maori separatist is a radical Maori separatist is a radical Maori separatist. That there *is* no difference between John Hatfield and Peter Sharples and Stephen (Tipene) O’Regan. They all want the same thing; the only differentiating factor is methods.

      And on that basis alone, Peter Sharples is more dangerous to New Zealand than John Hatfield, because Peter Sharples does *not* scream and yell and throw tantrums, and generally behave like a 14 year old who forgot to take his Ritalin.

      Perhaps instead of Adolf a more appropriate nick might be Marshal Philippe Pétain?

        Surely it is time (or past time?) for Key to say enough is enough? If he had the balls he’d go to the nation on the water issue alone. He’d win easily as both Labour and National voters would vote to put down the whining grasping maoris. This would be ideal as Key could then toss out Sharples and co. It won’t happen though. FFS!

            The New Zealand people have basically 3 choices for 2014:
            (1) National-led government with the Apartheid party pulling the strings – status quo. In this scenario, watch for the appeasement and Apartheid Aotearoa agenda to speed up.
            (2) Coalition of Losers (Liarbore/Watermelons/Winston First/Hatfield’s Mania). NZ will sink below the waves into a morass of poverty and civil unrest. Long-term, this may be the best outcome, but fuck will it hurt in the short-term!
            (3) National-led government with a strong Conservative Party junior partner (and perhaps a Second ACT – ‘scuse the pun) along for the ride.

            Meantime, watch the productive continue fleeing.
