Save enough rope

for weasels such as these:
‘Graham, McCain blast Paul filibuster
Almost exactly 24 hours after Mr. Paul began his information-seeking filibuster against John O. Brennan, Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham took to the Senate floor to denounce his demands and say he was doing a “disservice” to the debate on drones
….Mr. Graham said asking whether the president has the power to kill Americans here at home is a ludicrous question.
“I do not believe that question deserves an answer,” Mr. Graham said.
….Mr. Graham and Mr. McCain led a Republican delegation that held a private dinner with President Obama on Wednesday, as Mr. Paul was holding the floor with help from other GOP colleagues…’
Integrity has no home in Washington.

I think something decisive happened today…

The Old Guard Elitist Progressive Traitor RINOs are upset at the rise (finally!) of the super patriot/real McCoy Republicans like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz!

Rush Limbaugh – ground zero for the American Resistance – had a field day on this topic today on his radio program with over 20 million listeners.

In terms of the first American Revolution, I think we have advanced to 1774, when the revolutionary leadership first started to surface – figures like Patrick Henry, James Madison and so forth.

Next on the rebel agenda will be the search for the New George Washington to lead the insurrection – and rebellion it will be, as King George Obama’s vanity, like that of old King George, will not allow him to pull in his horns…He has cast the die long ago for revolution and he WILL GET HIS REVOLUTIONARY WAR …so we can expect plenty more crap from his Highness until, at long last, the Gods of War are sent the issue for resolution.

The next ten years in America and the world will be very interesting….It will be Global Revolution as well.

After the Rs put up McCain v oBowa, I quit and did not vote for pres – did vote otherwise though. Never been an R or D. Then in April 2009 was the first tea party. I attended with a sign “Obama, Graham, Clyburn do not spend my tax money on illegals.” At the party one of the organizers read the recently released obowa/big sis list of potential terrorists. The list included everybody, about 4,000, attending and is/was a definite slap in the face/shot6 across the bow.

Voted against Graham in his 2010 R run-up for reelection and did not vote for US Senator. When kennedy died told him he no longer had to cross the aisle to kiss teddy’s feet. This type of R’s can’t get out fast enough and obowa moves fast.

potential terrorists includes everybody except terrorists.

The first list in ’09 was so in your face including veterans, white people, just pure bullshit totally. The regime always releases something then says it was a mistake or some such lie to confuse the issue.

It will be interesting to see how much stomach the left have for a fight if it comes to that but I hope it doesn’t – soldier’s reunions are stark and painful reminders of the cost of politicians playing games.

  9. GW says:

Arggh . . . I hate to say this, but the President has a right to use any and all force necessary to stop an attack on our country. The drone question as posed falls under the rules of war, not the rules of law. Don’t just take it from me, take it from the legal architect of Bush’s enhanced interrogation program, John Yoo. The President does not have a right to do a drone strike on a U.S. citizen short of an actual attack, in which case normal laws of the Constitution apply.

All of that said, what McCain and Lindsey did was utterly disgusting. What the hell is wrong with these idiots? Who are they trying to ingratiate themselves with? Even if they actually felt as they since spoken, they had no reason to speak up. This was a purely ad hominem attack that added nothing to the issue except to bad mouth Ron Paul. What assholes.

  10. KG says:

“The drone question as posed falls under the rules of war, not the rules of law”
Fair enough–but this Administration has subjected troops on the battlefield to oversight by lawyers during engagements with the enemy and inflicted ROE’s on them which have cost lives.
It also wanted to try terrorists captured in battle in American domestic courts.
It seems the rules of law and the rules of war are whatever suits them at the time and that’s why they’re not trusted.

  11. Darin says:

What Rand Paul did was demand a concrete answer from the president on just exactly what the rules are and if he would follow them. Before there was no answer, just an outright redirect or a yes,no,maybe I dunno from the admin.

Today he and the rest of us got our answer and the president and his administration are on record and locked in.Possible grounds for impeachment later who knows?

As for Graham and McCain, they’re loyalties are not to the American people period.
