‘The U.S. Pacific Forces top commander warned that the region’s greatest threat is not North Korea or China, but climate change. Navy admiral Samuel J. Locklear III said in an interview that he sees rising sea levels as the top threat, predicting that the sea levels would “cripple the security environment, probably more likely than the other scenarios we all often talk about.”….’    source

    Like virtually every military in the world, flag rank among the U.S. military goes in peacetime to politicians posing in military garb – and those politicians are almost all militarily incompetent. It takes the first two years of a war directly involving that branch of the service before the warriors are picked to replace them. It has pretty much been the same way since the Revolutionary War – with the sole exception being WWII.

      Actually the biggest threat to the so-called ADMIRAL is not The Great Global Warming Hoax, it’s his fellow Americans like Ronbo, who would order a quick drum head courts martial for high treason and immediate execution by firing squad. :evil:

    The greatest threat is how limited resources are shared or taken. So even if Climate Change was a big issue, it still comes down to what China might want to do about it. The US Military is there to make sure China doesn’t think force is a good option. So trading navy tubs for CO2 tax payments is not a good idea.

    With Obama as Commander in Chief, who is surprised that he is turning his military personnel into World-Community Organisers? Expect to see more of it. :evil:
