Conroy is a totalitarian creep

Conroynaziso sue me, you despicable bastard. You, your kind and your party are the enemies of liberty. You never yet saw a remnant of liberty you didn’t want to control or extinguish.

Fuck you and the corrupt horse you rode into power on.

See the communists who run the ABC are right behind this scumbag tyrant. Australia is so sick in many ways.

  2. KG says:

I want to hear an unequivocal statement from Tony Abbott that he will repeal this crap in it’s entirety.
Not tinker with at, not amend or modify…REPEAL.

    • Ronbo says:

“Freedom is at stake, liberty is at stake, democracy is at stake,” said Malcolm Turnbull, the opposition communication spokesman.”

      • KG says:

        Which is interesting, Ronbo.
Turnbull is positioning himself for a tilt at the leadership of the opposition party. In truth, he’s a closet lefty.
What I want to know is this: Why didn’t Tony Abbott say what Turnbull said?

“Freedom is at stake, liberty is at stake, democracy is at stake,” said Malcolm Turnbull, the opposition communication spokesman.”

SABRA LANE: News Limited’s Kim Williams says the changes that you’re pushing will mean that the Gillard Government “will be the first Australian government outside war time to attack freedom of speech by seeking to introduce a regime which effectively institutes government sanctioned journalism”.

Thus is born “The Ministry of Lies”

  3. KG says:

Oh, we already have a Ministry of Lies, Ronbo.
It’s called the ABC, the taxpayer funded broadcaster, and it’s enormous.

    • Ronbo says:

      @KG:

We only have a couple of very small “Official” Ministry of Lies in America – PBS and National Public Radio – which nobody watches, but as is well known, the so-called private corporations ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, etc. are commie propaganda with falling ratings.

So guess the only difference in government propaganda for America and Australia is like the difference between a rapist who has his way with a lady in the hotel room he pays for, the case in the USA – and the rapist who forces the woman to pay for the room, the case in Australia.

Speaking of the Media, Glenn Beck has just recently started a new conservative television news service that tells the truth. Anyone anywhere in the world can get it over the Internet. I viewed an excellent program last night on the super secret NSA (National Security Agency) which is spying on everyone in the world, most particularly Americans, which is technically against the law.

Great! Thanks for that. I’m a little leery of a lot of “right-wing” media personalities, because they’re often more “personality” than right–people who’ve simply identified a niche but with no real conservative convictions.
I’ll go take a look.

    “…a totalitarian creep.”
He does have a certain Heinrich Himmler-ish look about him, doesn’t he?

  5. KG says:

The Daily Telegraph runs an apology. Sort of..
‘YESTERDAY we ran a picture of Federal Communications Minister Stephen Conroy depicted as Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.
It has since been pointed out that this was a grossly unfair and insulting comparison to make. And so we would just like to say: We’re sorry, Joe.
Yes, it is true that Stalin was a despicable and evil tyrant who was responsible for the death of many millions.
However, at least he was upfront in his efforts to control the media instead of pretending he supported free speech and then suggesting that cheeky, satirical or provocative newspaper coverage might be against the law. We also note that, despite his well-documented crimes against humanity, Stalin at least managed to hold a government together for more than three years.
Nonetheless, we pay tribute to our new Commissar Conroy and stand ready to write and publish whatever he instructs us to.’

A definition of intelligence that I like is … “the ability to profit from experience.” So why FUCKIN WHY do we not learn lessons from history? To be fair, old people have always lamented the ignorance of the young. Perhaps it is just my time to have a rant before I go tits up? NO. Bring on the revolution. I will be there.

  7. mistress mara says:

I already have one KG. It just needs a bit of oil, a long stick and a rag. No high tech here though , if I lived in America, I would likely have upgraded by now.

  8. Redbaiter says:

Rumours in Canberra that Gillard is gone.

  9. KG says:

‘JULIA Gillard’s office has dismissed as “silly rumours” suggestions Simon Crean was leading a group of ministers calling for her resignation.
