‘Police are preparing for violent scenes tomorrow after football fans vowed to confront anti-Thatcher protesters during a day of protest across the capital.
…Some fans from Millwall have threatened to confront the anti-Thatcher protesters. The public have been warned to avoid central London…’
Wabbit really really hopes the police fail to keep Millwall fans and the leftists separated. It’d be a massive–and bloody–meeting with reality for the leftard scum.  Millwall don’t take prisoners.

    The posthumous attacks on Thatcher display the gutless pettiness of the Left. I don’t care who “wins” the scrap, but the UK Left ought be desperately embarrassed by the current vitriol. (They won’t be embarrassed though.)

    (O/T: I heard Lord Christopher Monckton speak today. His appraisal of the Greens was heartwarmingly accurate.)

      Interesting the very angry reaction of the Left in Britain to the death of Thatcher and the golly good send off the American Left gave to Reagan at his passing to a higher level of existence.

      I think typical of the American Leftist reaction to the death and state burial of Reagan was a comment by our Leftist Dictator-In-Chief Obama to the effect that although he opposed nearly everything Reagan accomplished and stood for, RR was, all and all, a great man and president! :shock:

      Perhaps this “feel good” on the part of American Leftists has to do with the fact that our president is head of state and the government; whereas, in Britain, Queen Elizabeth II is the head of state, and PM is the head of government.

      Thus an American Leftist would curse Reagan, as a former leader of the federal government who confronted his beloved Soviet Russia in the 1980s, but he would stand up to salute him as former head of state, a patriot, and a great president without feeling a sense of contradiction.

      Americans! Go figure… :mrgreen:

        As an American patriot who was abandoned by the “nice middle class people” of the Right during his trial in 1994 for the alleged attempted assassination of President Clinton, I can personally confirm that statement.

        When push comes to shove, or should I say “IF” push comes to shove in a Second U.S. Civil War, it will be the rough and ready alpha male veterans, hunters and construction workers leading the vanguard – the “rude and crude” men the middle class would never invite to dinner, the show, or allowed to set foot in the country club.
