Rick Danko was *made* for singing that song; he has the perfect voice for it. Personally, I prefer the version that was re-mastered into The Last Waltz – the despairing tone in his voice is just right – but the one you’ve posted one is very good as well, and one I hadn’t seen before.
I think I like the Last Waltz version better too, Gantt. But it was interesting to find another, and new to me too.
