‘Electric cars, despite their supposed green credentials, are among the environmentally dirtiest transportation options, a U.S. researcher suggests.
Writing in the journal IEEE Spectrum, researcher Ozzie Zehner says electric cars lead to hidden environmental and health damages and are likely more harmful than gasoline cars and other transportation options…’

    Electric cars give off no pollutants. But the plants that produce the electricity do give off pollutants. So why drive the pieces of shit?

    I don’t drive no Prius and I ain’t a dickhead. However, My Little Red Sportscar convertible with V6 engine, 140 Rompin’ Hosses, 5 speed manual transmission, 1991 Pontiac Sunbird is NOW being offered for $200,000 Confederate dollars [will accept US currency if verified genuine], gold, silver, prehistoric relics, a bevy of beautiful women [none over 30 please] or a combination of any of the preceding items. She is beautiful on the inside and out though her radio does not work, she needs paint [GM Red], a new top, oil change, she is only on her third engine btw, and may have in excess of 200,000 miles however the odometer ceased @ 87,000 miles, and currently needs a brake job and shocks. Other than that, my little darling runs like a bat out of hell, redlines @6000 RPM and gets good gas mileage.

    First $200,000 gets it! :shock:

      The Left leadership knew from the start the fact that electric cars actually burn up more energy and pollute more than gasoline powered vehicles, but that wasn’t the purpose of their exercise, the purpose was in the short term to give jobs and money to their Green supporters; however, in the long term it was done to rid the streets and roads of all vehicles in favor of horse and mule transport.

      I’m sure Seattle is typical of big cities ran by Leftists – and guess what one of the big construction project is? Trolley lines. The Leftist mayor is having the streets tore up to install rails for trolleys, despite the fact that electric buses are already serving the city quite well, and thank you very much. The mayor’s theory is that more people would take a trolley and they can hold more people per trip :!:

      Then there is the SOUNDER – light rail to the suburbs of Seattle. Once again the job is done well by the city bus fleet, so well done, in fact, the city has to advertise for SOUNDER customers – yet our mayor is determined to EXPAND a losing bet by pouring more money into this rat hole.

      Did I tell you over 100 bus routes were either cut or have reduced coverage :?: I guess the money for trolleys and trains that nobody will ride has to come from somewhere…

      Thus the Left pushes today for the best 19th century technology available – trolleys and trains, but I’m sure if Obama is successful in establishing his dictatorship, the next turn of the Left screw will be back to the 18th century transportation system of oxen, horses and mules.

    Prius drivers are a slow bunch, the other day i was stuck behind one of them in the fast lane, i don’t know what this fool was trying to do, maybe save his batteries or something. But he sure got the message when Utes and V8s started swarming around and past him through the slow lane. He/she quietly moved back into the slow lane, tail firmly tucked when the going got hot.
