Open house

Off pig hunting at 0500 tomorrow. Not that I care much if we don’t see any pigs….there’s something special about sitting out in the bush in companionable silence, sharing a flask of coffee and waiting for dawn.

      Thou shalt not kill? But what about racist white pig-hunting domestic terrorists who cling to their guns and their liberty, and refuse to suckle at the loving teat of the state?       It’s Open Season in Wellington, Spidey. Avoid the pigs, but there are some lovely nocturnal gazelles running. A no bag-limit applies and the herd is full. I’ve been employing an environmentally-sustainable catch/tag/release technique most successfully.

          The trick, for the experienced hunter, is to search out ones who have already been tagged. You can tell them by a band of gold on the 4th finger of their left paw.

          It makes the tagging a little more challenging, but the release a whole lot easier. :shock: :shock:
