1. It looks like the barbarian invasion of the West in the 5th century A.D. redux

   …and if the script is followed Western Civilization will collapse followed by a 300 year Dark Age of anarchy until King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table rise to once again re-create Camelot.

       However, my point was the thesis laid out by Ayn Rand in the last chapter of Atlas Shrugged, where Western Civilization has collapsed thanks to socialism – and the Prime Mover survivors in “Galt’s Gulch” go forth to re-create the United States (and the world) after making one important change to the U.S. Constitution – that Congress shall not restrict capitalism in any manner.

       • I think the most important change to be made in any future rebuilding of America needs to be the scrapping of the universal franchise, Ronbo.
         I don’t view unrestrained capitalism as any less malignant than socialism, since this invasion is at least in part due to a desire for cheap labour and various downstream profitable angles.

           The robots are coming…Already Japan and the EU are making better use of them than the Anglosphere, but it would appear in next 10 -20 years they will be doing most of the grunt labor.

           …and best of all robots can’t vote and they don’t need welfare checks….just give them some electric and they are good to go

           Only those who are net taxpayers should have the vote (and all military veterans, disabled or not).
