    Who cares if asparagus is racist, the point is that asparagus is SEXIST, along with bananas, carrots (not the little round ones), parsnips, runner beans(especially those vile Chinese ones that run to a metre long) and common cucumbers, some of which have astonishing length and girth. And don’t get me comparing dry, limp, shrivelled ones with firm, thrusting upstanding ones….. The sistas are watching the issue closely.
