  2. KG says:

    Damn right.

  3. Redbaiter says:

That’s how the message needs to be delivered to these commie gun grabbing scum, for sure.

  4. MvL says:

Oh dear…The chief is sorry for hurting some feelingshttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif
What the hell has he got on that pistol he uses at the end?

  5. Redbaiter says:

    Man, I like that guy…

Maybe he should run for President.

  6. KG says:

He has exactly the right approach to the “gun debate”.
That is, no debate at all. Send the statist bastards back to from whence they came.

  7. Oswald Bastable says:

THAT is the way to respond to the left! Right in their faces and a big ‘UP YOURS!’

Reasoned debate and politeness has not place in the battle and you certainly don’t let the other side set the rules of engagement.

Get the other bastard on the ground and stomp his guts out!

    Excellent instructor.

    **GREAT!!!***

This guy would make one HELLUVA President!
He would ban scum like CAIR and kick their useless arses out of the country.

He could have Sheriff Joe as his running-mate for VP! WOOHOO!

    • Ronbo says:

Ronbo couldn’t have said it better :!:

When Obama came to office in 2009, only 28% of the American population strongly opposed him – the latest objective polling finds the figure up to 38%….

I submit the revolutionary boil point in America is about 33% based on the experience of 1775….

Also, I would note that American civilians own enough guns to be the largest standing army in the world and one state – Michigan – has more hunters and potential militia than the entire federal military and law enforcement establishment.

Finally, I would note that only two Islamic terrorists caused Boston to be locked down recently for days…

Can you imagine the chaos that even one well trained squad (12 men) of U.S. militia could create in Washington, D.C.?

      So when is the revolution?

Yes, the question has become “when” not “if”

  11. ‘swiped’ this and added another of him giving a great speech–Thank you-CR – for watching out for us in the US–
    Carol-CS

    • Ronbo says:

There is much righteous anger out there in the country…

And patriots can SHOOT :!:

Interesting that the Lamestream Media ignores the gathering storm on the Right, so predict when the revolution balloon finally goes up, and the nice elite Leftist gated communities start taking serious hits from automatic weapons, they are going to wonder – WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED :?:  WHERE DID THOSE GUYS COME FROM :?:

  12. Cadwallader says:

O/T: It is nearly the 50th Anniversary of JFK’s assassination and as you and many of your followers are knowledgable about firearms is it possible to run a few posts on the weapon used by Oswald relative to the single shot theory? Thanks. Also, what firearm did Jack Ruby use to kill Oswald? Big subject really but despite being laced with conspiracies worth thinking about to my mind.

  13. KG says:

I’m not sure what the single shot theory is, Cad.
I know that a lot of people claim that Oswald couldn’t have fired three aimed shots using the Carcano bolt-action within 4.8 to 5.6 seconds but that’s rubbish.
I’m not in my prime, not by a long shot ( ) but even I can still do that.

    • Oswald Bastable says:

The Carcano, contrary to the thoughts at the time that it was a pice of cheap junk (i.e.- not made in the USA  ) could not be more wrong.

Those a damned fine rifles and the 6.5x 55 round is mild to shoot with superior ballistics.

I see no reason why a MARINE with a good rifle could not get off three rounds in that time.

      • Oswald Bastable says:

Oops- I said 6.5x55mm (I’m more familiar with that one). The rifle used would be the 6.5x52mm.

        No real difference, otherwise.

        • Darin says:

“The Carcano, contrary to the thoughts at the time that it was a pice of cheap junk (i.e.- not made in the USA ) could not be more wrong.”

It is a fine rifle, the perception was that the thing was used war surplus which it was.The mistake people made was not realizing it was Italian military surplus so it was used very, very little since new

    • Cadwallader says:

I may well be wrong but wasn’t there a “magic bullet” idea floating around? ie Only one shot…

  14. KG says:

This is so full of holes, it’s hard to know where to start…
‘FBI marksman Robert Frazier who tested the rifle in two sets of tests testified to the Warren Commission that he could not reach the 5.6 second mark for firing three shots and all his shots fired five inches high and five inches to the right due to an uncorrectable deficiency in the telescopic sight..’

  15. Oswald Bastable says:

Look at the ad around at that time and weep!https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:KleinsAd1963.jpg

  16. Oswald Bastable says:

“In 1914, British rifle fire was so effective that there were some reports to the effect that the Germans believed they were facing huge numbers of machine guns.[68] The Army concentrated on rifle practice, with days spent on the ranges dedicated to improving marksmanship and obtaining a rate of fire of 15 effective rounds a minute at 300 yd (270 m); one sergeant set a record of 38 rounds into a 12 in (300 mm) target set at 300 yd (270 m) in 30 seconds.[69] In their 1914 skill-at-arms meeting, the 1st Battalion Black Watch recorded 184 marksmen, 263 first-class shots, 89 second-class shots and four third-class shots, at ranges from 300–600 yd (270–550 m).”

  17. KG says:

AAAAAARGH! Eighty bucks for the Garand!

    • Darin says:

Eighty bucks was money back then though. At the time Dad said he could fill the 28 gallon tank in his 1962 Ford Galaxy 500 for $8.00 and that included the attendant checking the tires, oil and washing the windsheild

The shocking thing in that ad is that anyone would pay $78 for a POS M1 Carbine

  18. KG says:

“one sergeant set a record of 38 rounds into a 12 in (300 mm) target set at 300 yd (270 m) in 30 seconds.”
I wonder if that’s ever been bettered?

    • Darin says:

The Lee Enfield rifle is partly responsible for the speed. With the bolt lever being slightly aft of the trigger when locked it makes rapid fire without releasing the lever possble.
      http://youtu.be/RQnWXEM_9bk?t=1m17s

      • Oswald Bastable says:

Also, you do not cock the bolt on lifting the handle, like a Mauser action. The spring is compressed when the bolt is driven forward. This makes for a smoother and faster action.

    • Ronbo says:

When I was high school in Ohio during the early 1960s, I bought a British .303 Lee-Enfield (jungle version) that was an excellent deer rifle for the princely sum of $19.95 at the local sporting goods store.

Yes, in those far gone days sixteen years old was senior enough to own high powered rifles, although I don’t recall even being asked for I.D. – just the $19.95 plus tax.

It was the best bolt action rifle I ever owned and the ten round magazine was plenty large enough to hold enough ammo for a weekend hunt. A friend of mine had an M-1 Garand which is semi-automatic, but with practice I could get off 10 rounds accurately faster than my buddy could get eight rounds fired on target from the M-1.

An awesome weapon is the Enfield, and I can well imagine soldiers on the receiving end of automatic fire when a British company of well trained riflemen opened up on them.

  19. MvL says:

As a member of my College shooting team, many moons ago
We used the .303 Lee-Enfield (fully wooded version). Firing prone, with peep? or aperture, sights over 500 yards, inner was about the size of a dinner plate and all shots were expected to be in it.
Abiding memory was the two “warmers” we were given to fire prior to the serious shots.
All manner of targets can be selected and hit on a range, while appearing to point the rifle down range at all times

  20. KG says:

“All manner of targets can be selected and hit on a range, while appearing to point the rifle down range at all times”
 So you played that game too, eh?

  21. NutCase says:

It’s not the AK…….It’s the wilful defiance I find appalling,,,,,, and unbecoming of a citizen in a caring, compassionate and courageous society like the multiculturally adulterated United States of America.

    You’re hoitn’ a lotta people’s feelings here…….. Is ‘e a white supremacist ? Only a white supremacist would have a gun.

  22. KG says:

“Only a white supremacist would have a gun.”
That must be why so many blacks shoot blacks in Detroit and Chicago, right?

    • Ronbo says:

      @KG:

I understand the reason so many blacks get shot and killed is because your average gang banger is such a lousy shot, so they have to street sweep with their AK-47s and hit everyone in the neighborhood – except the guy they were aiming at
