I bring up voting when I want to watch liberal’s heads explode.
“•He had to be a citizen.
•He had to be at least twenty-one years of age.
•He had to own real property — land.
•He had to have been a resident in the district where he proposed to vote for a legally stated minimum interval — usually, one year.”

Mention that around any of the liberals I know and the knee jerk response is-“That’s racist, you don’t want black people to vote”
To which I ask,who mentioned anything about race?Must have been a Freudian slip on your part?
That’s when their eyes roll back in their heads and they start foaming at the mouth.

The corruption of the system is too far gone to change it peacefully now as “voters” on the take outnumber those that contribute. It will have to be sorted out when the revolution comes – along with a limit to what the thieves in government can take as a percentage of GDP.

Yep. No chimp willingly gives up a free banana.

I think everyone here at Crusader Rabbit are on the same page on this issue :!:

Clearly, no major change in the voter requirements would be approved by any government in the Anglosphere….

UNLESS, the current effete elite socialist ruling class is removed from power at all levels of authority from all public institutions with EXTREME prejudice.

Excellent article on the topic of revolution in America at American Thinker this morning:

          http://www.americanthinker.com/printpage/?url=http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/../2013/08/time_for_a_new_american_revolution.html

Thus the necessary preconditions for revolution are in place at this time in the USA, but I have to disagree with the author’s conclusion that great leaders are needed to start the revolution – my observation from reading much world history is that the revolutionary leadership rises AFTER the revolution begins…

WE THE PEOPLE MAKE THE REVOLUTION :!:

THEN WE SELECT OUR REPRESENTATIVES :!:

Well….I see Brit politicians (and some Australian ones) are beginning to make noises about giving 16 year olds the vote, Ronbo.
So they’ll change the voting requirements enough to give indoctrinated know-nothings the opportunity to vote for the left.

    The American Right to Revolt
The Founding Fathers were in favor of the right to revolt against tyranny. This is obvious despite widespread current attempts by progressives to suggest armed revolt and the 2nd Amendment would be opposed by the Founders today. But how logical would be the notion that Americans could own guns, but not use them to defend themselves?
Or that Americans could arm to defend their lives and liberties, but only against invaders—not against tyrants? Of course, such a position is transparent nonsense. In fact, the American Revolution itself is the most eloquent testimony illustrating the right to bear arms against government subjugation imaginable…’
