‘American Patriotism: Proof of Life’

Gary Hunt writes of a turning point.

I agree.

For the first time a large number of Americans did not simply sit and grow angry.

They did not simply write letters or send emails or make phone calls.  They’ve already done that, many times.

They did not simply head to their local rally point or voting booth.    They’ve already done that, too.

Vets and other Patriots from across the country showed up to say their words in person.  If that is where it had stopped, yesterday would not have been significant.

“To the White House!” the cry climbed on the misty, cool DC air from very near my shoulder, and a long train of Americans began snaking from the Memorials toward the home of the President.  They picked up the symbols of .Govs animus and decided to return them to sender, and seek a discussion about our current long train of abuses.  Yes, those inside the White House were invited outside to talk, many times, by Vets and other Patriots in attendance.  Those invitations died on the air.

But that simple act, the courage given to those who heard the cry to head to the White House, the tall stacks of Barry-cades dropped at both sides of the property, represent action.  Tangible, real action.

The rattlesnake rattled her tail.

The result?

The King’s Men abandoned the field.  Some whispered apologies as they walked by us, heads and eyes low.  Some of them know what they are doing is wrong.  It is not too late if you are working as a cog in the machine.  Walk away.  Just walk away.  Find the courage in your hearts to do the right thing, now.  I dare say most of us will forgive you – today.  Tomorrow may be too late.

October 13, 2013 was a significant day in American history.  No blood was shed.  But the nation heard the rattle.  It started with the voice of one man, backed up by a thousand and more.

We have entered another phase of resistance.

Until yesterday we had only used our words.  Yesterday, we added a single defiant action, to prove our sincerity.  Proof of Life of American Patriotism was provided, and left at the front and rear doors of the White House.  When the King’s Men saw that Proof of Life, they blinked.

We’ve used our words.  I believe yesterday marks the end of words alone.

Real Americans are about to start giving out free handfuls of Fuck You.

    Sure is, I loved it!

  3. mawm says:

Barry would never be man enough to have come out and faced this non-violent crowd. Next time he might not be so lucky. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

    Greetings.
Did I read the comment on Kerodin’s blog right? This is a ridgy didge, fair dinkum, shrimp barbecuing, Vegimite stockpiling Australian Libertarian web site?

  5. KG says:

We drink beer, hunt feral pigs and ‘roos and think the coastal cities are cesspits full of lefty voters.
(our Kiwi friends tend to be more genteel…. mostly. And very smart.)

    • Ronbo says:

This gentleman repeated in a very elegant way my immediate reaction Sunday to the minor rebellion at the White House by the patriots/veterans – to wit – that it was a 21st century Boston Tea Party.

…and I suspect the reaction of the Obama Regime will be the same as was the reaction of the Ministry of King George III – a double down of oppression that will lead inevitably to warfare.

Yes, revolution 2.0 is in the air…especially in regards to Obamacare, as many Americans have said that will not comply with the illegal taxation…

What will the Obama Regime do when millions refuse to follow orders :?: Will the Regime call out the DHS Redcoats :?: Will they murder Americans in the streets :?:

The Redcoats of King George used lethal force…and we saw how that worked out.

Obama will get his revolutionary war.

He may not like the outcome.

Yep, the Kiwis are the brains and drink genuine ales, and the Oshtrayans are the brawn and drink thin fizzy lager they call xxxx. ;-)

      • KG says:

 My experience indicates that Kiwis drink that septic tank runoff known as Lion Red and that the brains on display here may not be typical of the breed.

        • thor42 says:

          Yeccccch…… Lion Red….. *shudder*…. :)
It should be used to clean drains.

          I’m not much of a beer-drinker really.
I do like a nice cold apple cider on a hot summer’s day. Also really like cream liqueurs in coffee (Baileys and the like) – mmmmmm……. Amarula liqueur too for something a bit different.

          • KG says:

The last apple cider I drank was a long time ago, Thor. One tall glass of it left me legless.
That stuff should come with a hazardous substance warning.

  6. Now – if we can just get our Rssss to stop folding like cheap suits..

    We will MARCH on–for Freedom!!
    C-CS

  7. Brown says:

We know how this ends, they have already made the film showing the heroic black president winning. Not one I’d go and watch of course.

  8. Kathleen says:

When I read about what happened at the party in DC, I started tearing up and thanking God we were finally doing something.

    • KG says:

A lot of people feel that way, Kathleen.
Which means that, should it come to a fight, a whole lot of non-combatant Americans will provide help and support to those at the sharp end.
And that’s a cheering thought, isn’t it?

  9. Rich says:

I had no idea Australia supported our patriots this much. THANK YOU!
I found this website from your request to repost this article. I am very unfamiliar with Australia politics and beliefs so I wanted to see what you all thought. I am very impressed with what I see. I have to ask though, is this how most of you feel or is it like the US III%. We are a minority ,a very small minority, but we are growing.

KG wrote ” Americans will provide help and support to those at the sharp end.”
He is absolutely correct. People are finally realizing there is no left or right, there are only makers and takers.

  10. KG says:

Rich, Aussies and Americans have fought side by side in numerous wars. And the Kiwis have done more than their share too. We have far more similarities than differences, I think.
A lot of us also share a reverence for liberty and that great expression of it, the American Constitution. (far more so than most of your elected “representatives”).
Sure, we’re a minority and that minority consists mainly of those over the age of 40–the young have been indoctrinated by our “education” system to regard those things we value with contempt.
    Sound familiar?
But never forget this: America has far more friends in the world than the propaganda media would have you believe.

  11. KG says:

Oh, and should TSHTF, you three percenters will find a considerable number of us right there with you.

  12. Wombat says:

    Fan-bloody-tastic.

    I think I’ve found a new haunt.

As for what percentage of Australians value liberty, as with most western nations I suspect over time it tracks a very similar line to the percentage of the citizenry that live in the city vs the country.
It used to be a country-heavy pro liberty nation. Now it’s a city-heavy pro-collectivism nation.
Well this redneck holdout is quite happy in Hazzard County, Tasmania.

    • Darin says:

I wouldn’t worry WB,once the lights go out,the fuel runs out and the store shelves go empty the big cities will sort themselves pretty quick.

Judging by what happened in New Orleans after Katrina,I give it two weeks tops before cannibalism is rampant.

      • Rich says:

I have said that if we could just secede from the coasts we would do pretty well! The central core of the country is very liberty minded.

As for the cities “sorting themselves out”. That’s why I live two hours from the nearest interstate, produce ALL of my own meat and 75% of all my other food. After many years of hard work we are finally self sufficient.

        • Darin says:

Yup,same here, all in all I have a great bunch of friends and town folk. When disaster hit we all help out any way we can and pull it together,it’s what Americans are supposed to do.Too bad our “leaders” can’t do the same.

  13. KG says:

“I suspect over time it tracks a very similar line to the percentage of the citizenry that live in the city vs the country.”
Yep. All the evidence points that way.
We’d love you to make this your haunt, Wombat.
If you love liberty and detest the enemies of it, you’re a brother in the fight. Treat this as you would your own blog.

  14. KG says:

Just so long as they eat FEMA operatives first, Darin.

  15. Rich says:

Your the kind of guest that is ALWAYS welcome. We will need all the help we can get.
    Thanks again.

  16. dondiego says:

@Darin: I was linked to this http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/090605_world_stories.shtml re: New Orleans.

Shooting at the helicopters bringing in food :?: *Those* particular pricks are going to be problematic in the cities.

    • Darin says:

Which is why I don’t live in a major city Don,haven’t lost anything there and have no reason to ever enter one.

I live not to far away from New Orleans and while my town didn’t flood,it did recieve much heavier wind damage and lost power for 3-1/2 weeks.
There were no riots,no looting and no crime while all this was going on.People were busy helping each other out and generally the town and for that matter my whole state operated on it’s own with ordinary citizens taking on massive responsibility.Katrina proved to me that I am in a good place if TSHTF.

This is what the first 500 feet of the road into my homestead looked like a week after the storm. We had 73 trees accross the road between us and the main road that I and my uncle and two neighbors started cutting and clearing as soon as the wind let up.Took three days running four saws and a frontend loader to clear the trunks out of the road so we could get out and make it into town.

  17. KG says:

    That’s impossible. Obviously photoshopped.
People can’t do that stuff without government supervisors and an army of safety inspectors.

    • Darin says:

True, but we just hurried up and did it before FEMA showed up,which meant we didn’t have to be in much of a hurry
