    The old saying is eternally true. People get the government they deserve.

    The brazen injustice could end tomorrow if everyone got off their asses. They wont though. Not until things get much, much worse.

    What he describes is horribly familiar. British government has already been delegated to a permanent bureaucracy in this way. It doesn’t matter which “political party” “wins” an “election”, the same policies keep on being brought forward.

    The TV show “Yes Minister” was not so much a comedy as a true reflection of how Whitehall works. I still enjoyed it. :mrgreen:
