Bawaaahahaha!

Thanks to Michael for the tip and the link:
‘So much sea ice in Antarctica that a research vessel gets stuck, in summer!
…The expedition is being led by Chris Turney, “climate scientist”, who has “set up a carbon refining company called Carbonscape which has developed technology to fix carbon from the atmosphere and make a host of green bi-products, helping reduce greenhouse gas levels.” The purpose of the expedition is “to discover and communicate the environmental changes taking place in the south.”
….It seems they found out what the “environmental changes taking place in the south.” are.
….Turns out this “research” vessel was mostly a taxpayer funded junket for getting video stories to BBC in the UK and ABC in Australia….’  (bold mine)
This is delicious…a warmy scammer with egg on his face, a major expensive fuck-up and what ought to be severe embarrassment for two of the prime warmy propaganda outlets. Paging Al Gore..come in Al..are you there, Al?

I’m living large at my Southern estate that burns up electric by the zillionwatts :!:

If you’re interested, I’m selling carbon credits so that I can pay Southern Electric my rather large bill. Did you know experts say that if you buy my carbon credits, I can buy even more electric for my well appointed billionaire pad?

      • Of course it is. Look at the record Arctic ice build-up–obviously the result of log fires and backyard barbecues.
        Everybody knows that.

      • Yeah, Ronbo, I guess I must just be thick or even incredibly stupid for failing to mindlessly embrace the message of ‘The Gospel According To The IPCC’ and all of the so called ‘experts’ riding on its highly lucrative shirt tails. I suppose I am expected to just shut up, pay my carbon taxes and freeze to death when I can no longer afford to keep me and the Kitchen Führer warm. 2. What I found to be the most stupid was the comment that the ship was safe for now. Obviously they don’t have a clue on how fast things can get VERY bad in those places. The article did say more strong winds were expected and rescue was at least two days away. Me? I’d be changing my underwear frequently.
